To say the US does nothing good on international isues is ignorant at best, plain stupid at worst. --- THX 1138
yeah! its a phyche of american that they think that all people around the world are plain stupid and they are only genius in this world :-) in medical terms its called a mental desease :-))
American did lots of good things for the wolrd like a divided korea, destryed vietnam, demolished japan, destabilize south america, destroyed afghanistan and most importantly these american converted the the world's one of the most holy land palestine into a slaughter house. these are acheivments of american's superfluous intrusion on world afairs! and now there misdeeds have rebounded in form of 9/11.
that they think that all people around the world are plain stupid and they are only genius in this world
Nowhere did I say such a thing. Better re-read my post again.
As I said, we're not perfect, we're only human, we've made mistakes. However, I believe we've done more good than harm in this world, I think that counts for something even if you don't.
like a divided korea,
Yeah, we just went over there out of nowhere and started a fight with North Korea.
destryed vietnam,
Yeah, we just went over there for the French baked goods and ended up fighting with the locals.
demolished japan,
Yeah, they were just sitting there minding their own business.
destabilize south america,
Yeah, it was real stable before we got involved.
destroyed afghanistan
Yeah, we should have backed the Russians.
and most importantly these american converted the the world's one of the most holy land palestine into a slaughter house.
Yeah, it has nothing to do with the call for Israel's destruction or suicide bombings.
these are acheivments of american's superfluous intrusion on world afairs! and now there misdeeds have rebounded in form of 9/11.

How do we respond to this view? What can possibly be said?
I sometime imagine what the world would be like if Germany and Japan won WW2. Would Hitler have paid for oil? I'm quite sure there would be no Israel and internet. The US would probably be OK. The 3rd world would still be poor (except of course South America and Africa---they would be free and prosperous
<sarcasm>).
Most 3rd world nations have emerged from Western colonialist domination and the ravages of Imperialism only in the past 50 years or so. And than they became embroiled in the cold war tug-of-war between the USSR and the West. This is true of the two Asian behemoths – China and India – with China suffering the travails of its own internal Maoist cataclysm after WWII.
The 3rd world has shown a lot a lot of inertia in finding its own identity – in essence they are still vassal states even today. Either they are aligned with the US or opposed to it – a viable alternative not being there after the demise of the Soviets. The antagonism towards the US and the reluctance to embrace its systems stems from this lack of identity.
I bet that after the civil war and the abolishing of slavery in the US, the black slaves felt the same way.
Unable to forge a personality that does not have overt influence from the US, nations like India sulk and whine. The nations of the Middle East have this additional insult of their entire value system being revealed as primitive and barbaric. Pakistan and the Islamic nations therefore just wallow in self-pity and self-loathing and the extreme elements of these nations get pushed to the limits of their forbearance and react with impassioned hatred towards the US.
Sid the kid Naeem is just one sympton of this unfortunate and befuddled lot.
The State of Israel has exacerbated tensions immensely in the globe ever since it came into existence. The Jewish people carry an onerous burden on their shoulders – they have been the cause of friction, war, devastation , strife, mayhem and cataclysm from Biblical times to the modern day world. Why do the Jewish people cause such intense misery for such a prolonged period in human history?
The creation of the State of Israel is justified due to this reason alone. The Jewish people have been picked upon, reviled, denigrated , spat upon, shat upon, and ratted on by so many people in the course of history that they deserve a land of their own. Having a land of their own would allow them to protect and nourish their ancient faith and act as a haven for their kind when subject to oppression in other parts of the globe.
No one can dispute the perspicacity of the Jewish people, their reverence for the pursuit of knowledge, their contributions to Science and learning and the arts and literature. A land of Israel would hopefully enhance and nourish such gifts and benefit all mankind.
But what has the State of Israel done with itself. It has become a weapon of oppression, a purveyor of hatred and oppression equal to what was meted out to it. It has become a symbol of fratricide and divisiveness and a magnet for extremists of its faith. It has ripped apart the equanimity of the Globe and caused the escalation of global tensions. The State of Israel has managed to escalate the worst medieval and primitive passions in the human heart. Instead of fostering the arts and sciences, it has deteriorated into a mercenary weapons supplier – weapons of the worst kind.
Such a lot of hope and promise the State of Israel had – all to naught.
I beleive things would have been much batter if US would not intrude on all those issues. a sloution that emerges from within the society is much batter then a solution imposed by any foreign power. we have seen the human tragedies caused by the US intrusion in Vietnam, japan, korea and now in afghanistan only japan could get rid of all those miseries by their own resolve, struggle and will power!
I sometime imagine what the world would be like if Germany and Japan won WW2. Would Hitler have paid for oil?---apple-314159
Only the faces and flags would change otherwise they must be doing the same what US is doing currently throughout world :-) power abuse, threatening to much much smaller nations imposing sanctions to weaker nations so that they can follow the US desires!!! what else
Naeem, are you an American citizen? Have you read our Constitution? --- apple-314159
I am not an american citizen (Thanks God) and i have no interest on american constitution too! I can guess about your constitution after listening your presidents statements asking UN to "follow the US path and desire or become irrelevant, we will do it by our own" :-)
The nations of the Middle East have this additional insult of their entire value system being revealed as primitive and barbaric. --- Naradar
Nothing can be more barbaric and brutal then what happened in Gujrat, Mumbai and in indian punjab. your fellow countrymen are doing all these Homocidal killing in the name of religion. In this 21st century when there is a growing sense of human respect and dignity througout the wolrd, we can only see the roasted bodies of innocent men, women, children and even unborn babies in India and your fellow fanatic Hindus burn those people just b'coz those people are not Hindues they are muslims, chiristians and Sikhs! and most unfortunate thing is that India is being ruled by these fanatic hindus who wanna convert india into a theocratic Hindu fundamentalist state.
I thought aloud--- I sometime imagine what the world would be like if Germany and Japan won WW2
Naeem said,

With attitudes like this..... We need to put America first when it comes to all issues especially trade, foreign aid and protection of Citizens. Perhaps if 'they' don't like us they should at least fear us? With all we do for freedom, technology, agriculture, medicine, human rights etc we are put in the same category as China, North Korea , Syria etc. (not to mention all the stuff we import). We're like the guy who keeps buying drinks at the bar....at least for him the patrons act like they like him.
Please, just for a little bit, could you discuss the atrocities occuring elsewhere in the Middle East?? Just so we know you have the whole picture??
To start, please briefly discuss political and economic repression and stagnation in these nations: 1. Lebanon defacto annexed by..., 2. Syria, then move on to 3. Sudan, 4. Egypt, 5. Saudi Arabia, 6. Algeria and 7. Libya. (I won'd even bring up how the PLO and Saddam treat their own).
Rich people have always had servants to spare them the drudgery of having to beat the dust out of rugs; the advent of vacuum cleaners spared the common man of that kind of drudgery. Henry Ford became very rich, but the benefits reaped by the common man by being able to afford an auto trivialized whatever gains were reaped by Ford. Air conditioning and air travel, as late as the '50s, were something for the well-to-do; now, half the poor people have air conditioning and travel by air, and more than half own automobiles. In the 19th century, almost all teen-agers toiled in factories or fields.
Now, nine in 10 attend high school. Today's Americans have three times more leisure time than their great-grandparents did. The price of food relative to wages has plummeted: In the early part of this century, the average American had to work two hours to earn enough to purchase a chicken, compared with 20 minutes today.
College professors, politicians and others whose agenda calls for increased government control over our lives promote the lie that things are getting worse. If we buy into that lie, we'll kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. We might ask ourselves: Why is it that so much of the progress of the past 100 years has originated in America?
please briefly discuss political and economic repression and stagnation in these nations: 1.Lebanon 2. Syria,3. Sudan, 4. Egypt, 5. Saudi Arabia, 6. Algeria and 7. Libya. -- apple-314159,
I think its a national habbit of american that they cook stuffs in their sick brains based on their hatred against muslims and keep talking about that, Amerian live in their self-imagined world where only US is good and all other world is bad :-)
I have been in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Libya many times BUT did not find any political and economic repression in these countries there are no significant political uprising in these countries people are living very peacefully and harmoniously (what you american don't Like actualy) especialy Saudi Arabia which is almost like a seccond home for me, lots of my family members and relatives live in SA. people have no restrictions on their economical activities they do business and earn money freely. Despite I am not an arab but a Pakistani, whenever I go there i never found myself restricted by any mean. offcourse the system of government is not democratic but people have no problem with the type of Gov. and kings, people like them and follow the rules and laws by their Gov.
Political and economic repression do exist in countries like Egypt and Algeria where American sponsered dictators are supressing the basic human rights of people, these dictators are ruling the country against the wishes of people and according to the wishes of US.
In 1920, 1921 and 1929, there were no territories of 1967 to impedepeace between Jews and Arabs. Indeed, there was no Jewish State to upset anybody.
Nevertheless, the same oppressed and repressed 'Palestinians' slaughtered hundreds of Jews in Jerusalem, Jaffa, Safed and Hebron. Indeed, 67 Jews were slaughtered one day in Hebron - in 1929. Dear world, why did the Arabs - the Palestinians - massacre 67 Jews in one day in 1929? Could it have been their anger over Israeli aggression in 1967? And why were 510 Jewish men, women and children slaughtered in Arab riots in 1936-39? Was it because of Arab upset over 1967?
You mention Lebanon. Talk to us a bit about the Syrian occupation of Lebanon. --- apple-314159
what happend in past is past NOW both these countries have no significant dispute with each other, the only problem for both of these countries is a rogue state called Israel, which is actualy the problem for whole world.
How many Jews live in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Syria etc. today? The same regions 300 years ago? --- apple-314159
Jewsh are habitual immigrant, they kept migrating from here to there throughout their history wherever they found they can earn more money they just go there.
there was no Jewish State to upset anybody. --- apple-314159
BUT there were Jewish to upset any body! Jewish are historically proven troublesome people wherever they go they try to dominate the majority native people, their culture and their values! they did the same in germany now doing the same in US!
The Jews are trying to dominate the natives here in America? Umm, okay. I know of some people of the Jewish faith, but they aren't hell-bent on dominating American culture. You know, now that I think of it, there is a big rise in Jewish sit-coms and dramas. Jewish music is all over the pop charts, as well as big in the hip-hop and country charts. I think I'm starting the see the Jewish influences in Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Adam Sandler sung the Channukah song, and look how popular he is. He's the ringleader I'm sure. Thank goodness we've been shown the light and we can stop those Jews from their quest to dominate our native culture.
We are reading the treatment of muslims there is in US daily on the news papers Like search, arrest, Kidnap by FBI and other spy agencies. abuses, harassment and discriminating behaviours by the American society!
Chiristians and Hindus are living in Pakistan with full freedom and dignity, these Chiristians and Hindus are as much pakistanis as other muslims are, they have the right to follow their religion by their own way, they have churches and temples in Pakistan, they have their religious organization, they can participate on election freely. In recent elections 10 non-muslims got elected in 360 parliment, 5 chiristian, 3 are Hindus and 3 are from other minor groups. they have share on Gov, In Musharraf cabnet there is one chiristian minister. Lots of chiristians are in armed forces too, hindus avoid to join armed forces but chiristians do exist there. In my university there are lots of chiristian professors and lectures to whome i am a student.
If a fanatic person or a minor goup of fanatic people attack chiristian or any other minority community it does not mean that its a national sentiment or the state is invlove, people in Pakistan and Gov both think these fanatic people as crimnals and deals with them as per their crimes.
The technology transfer from ...America to Saudi Arabia. --- apple-314159
Saudis can buy the same technology from other countries Like EU or Japan, these countries are desperate to sell their technologies to these rich gulf countries to furthur boost their economies American should be thankfull to saudis and other gulf countries that they are buying it from US
However, we can only transfer technology if you use it for the good of mankind. --- James T. Kirk
LoL :-))) Well, Well, Well! did american use the technology for the good of mankind. ???? :-)) LoL
Ex-US President Jimmy Carter Slams 'Arrogant' US Foreign Policy
WASHINGTON -- Former US president Jimmy Carter, this year's Nobel Peace Prize winner, called on Friday for disarmament by the United States, which has taken the lead in urging such countries as North Korea and Iraq to destroy their weapons of mass destruction.
"One of the things that the United States government has not done is to try to comply with and enforce international efforts targeted to prohibit the arsenals of biological weapons that we ourselves have," Carter said on CNN's Larry King Live program broadcast late Friday.
He also called for more stringent efforts by Washington "to reduce and enforce the agreement to eliminate chemical weapons, and the same way with nuclear weapons."
"The major powers need to set an example," Carter said, as the United States confronts Iraq over its possession of such banned weapons.
"Quite often the big countries that are responsible for the peace of the world set a very poor example for those who might hunger for the esteem or the power or the threats that they can develop from nuclear weapons themselves," the former US president continued.
"I don't have any doubt that it's that kind of atmosphere that has led to the nuclearization, you might say, of India and Pakistan," he said.
Carter, who will receive the Nobel prize on December 10 in Oslo, Norway for his efforts in seeking negotiated settlements to head off violent conflict, also noted that the United States gives only one one- thousandth of its gross national product for international assistance, while the average European country gives four times as much.
"For every time an American gives a dollar, a citizen of Norway gives 17 dollars," he said.
"Foreign aid in this country has a bad name, but in other countries, it's a right thing for the government to do. And that's where we at the Carter Center quite often have to turn," the former president said, referring to the Atlanta-based Carter Center he founded some 20 years ago, and which now operates humanitarian projects in 65 countries.
Carter also said the United States has given many nations around the world cause for resentment and scorn.
"There is a sense that the United States has become too arrogant, too dominant, too self-centered, proud of our wealth, believing that we deserve to be the richest and most powerful and influential nation in the world," the 78-year-old former president said.
"I think they feel that we don't really care about them, which is quite often true."
I don't know if someone has already posted this and plllleeeeaase correct it if you KNOW it is wrong--- I am not Jewish---but I came across this piece of history...actually, I found the whole web-site intersting-
Whose land is it?
A short history lesson
We can go all the way back to the Stone Age and through the Bronzed and Iron Age. And the Israeli Conquests that was from 1,200 – 1,000 BC and we will not in any of those times see a Palestinian people, much less one that was in control of this land called the Holy Land. We can then search the history books and see that from 1,000 BC up until 587 BC the Jews struggled among themselves over the land, but stayed in control of it. Then came the Persian’s after them the Hellenistic, then the Hasmoneans.
But then came the Romans, just to make a long story short, they had so much trouble with the Jews that they ended up destroying everything Jewish they possibly could. That even included changing the name of the place from Israel to “Palestine”. That happened around 63 BC till 324 AD. From that time forth everyone who lived here in this land were called Palestinian’s, the Greeks, Persians, and even the Jews, were all called Palestinians. Much the same as those who live in the USA are all called Americans.
But after the Romans came the Byzantine, and the Crusaders and the Manluks, and the Ottoman’s, and then in 1917 came the British who stayed in control of Palestine until 1948. During their stay in Palestine they even created a State for the Arabs (Palestinians) who lived here, its called Jordan. Then in May of 1948 God brought the Jews home, and ISRAEL BECAME A NATIONS ONCE AGAIN, Ezek. 37.
From 1948 until 1967 Egypt controlled the Gaza Strip and Jordan controlled the “so-called” West Bank, Samaria and Judea. But after the 1967 6-day war that changed as well, and Israel was in control of their beloved mountains “Judea & Samaria” and more important their beloved Jerusalem.
But I am sure you knew all of that. What I wanted to do is bring something very clear to everyone. There is one thing absent in all the above, at no time did the “Palestinians” have control of anything much less this land. It is also interesting to note that during the time span of 48 –67 there when Egypt and Jordan were in control there was never any talk of a Palestinian State. So why is it so important now? And the answer is simple, it is JIHAD “A Holy War” not a national one. It is the war that has raged on for thousands of years between Ishmeal and Jacob, the Arabs and the Jews.
Just to keep this report short, I will not chase the thought above; instead I will close with this. The Palestinians cannot have their State back, because they have never had one. This is another Islamic lie, and part of their desire to control or kill Jacob. So when you hear Yasser Arafat say the Jews are on Palestinian land, it is another of his lies. But what is so amazing is no one is questioning his right to say it.
A Land is for the people who are living there for thousands of years not for the people who escaped or pushed from throughout the world but this fact is bayond your brain b'coz US itself is country who have no roots in history of human civilization and have no formal culture and values of it own!
Setting our young friend Naeem straight on things might be a little more effective if you didn't call him "shithead" while you were delivering the lesson.
Just a suggestion.
I don't know if the Marshall Plan is taught to everyone around the world in the same way it's taught here.
BTW: I think a couple US bombs got dropped in Europe during WWII, too.
To the victor goes the spoils of war. I could debate Marshall getting the Peace Prize. Shouldn't such a rebuilding be expected? Afghanistan as well?
Setting our young friend Naeem straight on things might be a little more effective if you didn't call him "shithead" while you were delivering the lesson. --- Rick
Rick! A 'Shithead' can't deliver any thing usefull other then a junck of shits :-) Bill is just a matter of fun for me and nothing more then this, my foot!
Look, Stupid -- Bill
Yeah! I am looking the post of the most 'Stupid' person in this forum right now :-)
I don't know if the Marshall Plan is taught to everyone around the world in the same way it's taught here. --- Rick
These things are beyond the brains of these people, trueman is considered a hero among most of the american b'coz most of them are fanatic morons But the same person is considered in japan and most part of the world as a butcher and murderer of millions of innocent people!
QUETTA,Pakistan Nov 19: Thousands of people gathered in Quetta today for the funeral of a Mir Amil Kansi in the United States for killing two CIA employees, and hailed Mir Amil Kansi as an Islamic hero. The country's new national assembly, meeting for the first time this week after three years of military rule, also interrupted its proceedings today to offer a brief prayer for Kansi. A Islamist political leader led the prayer in parliament in the capital Islamabad condemning those who helped in the arrest of Kansi in Pakistan in 1997 and allowed him to be taken back to the United States for trial. In the southwestern city of Quetta, thousands of people gathered at a stadium to mourn Kansi.
Truman, by ordering the dropping of the Atomic bomb, killed less than 200,000 people --- Bill-Shithead
Its the number of an ignorent and moronic american who have been misleaded and misinformed by its Gov. and education system. japanease claim 1 million deaths only b'coz of the nukes other war casualities by american is separate, independent sources tell its 500,000 people who died only b'coz of the neuclear attack in japan!
But our Army and Navy and Marines lost hundreds of thousands of lives in their pursuit of the Japanese Army --- Bill-Shithead
so what else you think will happen in war!!!?? soldier dies in wars, it was not american civilian who died in millions by other armies but it was millions of civilians who died by american barbaric armies in japan, vietnam and Iraq e.t.c, I think its american war logic to kill 100 civilian in revenge of one american soldier!!!
The Japanese Army DID murder and RAPE millions, in China ALONE. FACT. --- Bill-Shithead
So!!! what japanease did with china is the issue of china and japan not your's, mind your business it will only benefite you!
where he is hiding like a little kid, right now. --- Bill-Shithead
He must be in white house! bush and he is having very good and ..... nights together b'coz both of them are equaly fanatic and moron :-) LoL
I know you can read and write the English language and I assume you can understand the Hebrew(?) language, so I will ask you to watch a movie that can be seen in the Realplayer software. It is translated into English writing on the screen and I want to know two things.
FYI, I know english but i don't know Hebrew at all! the web site you are mentioning is a total junk of shit lies and twisted facts or you can say utter nonsense! it only shows the mental status of the owers of website (I guess they are some fanatic indians living in britian).
if you have any query abt islam and its beleives then ask directly to me i will try to answer as per my knowledge of Islam and its beleives.
the web site you are mentioning is a total junk of shit lies and twisted facts or you can say utter nonsense!
It was video of various Islamic leaders preaching to their people. It was the leaders own words with no commentary. Please explain how this is lies and twisted facts.
I realize that here are extremist in any religion that will use it to do what they want. We had Charles Manson a few decades ago who claimed to be Jesus Christ and got his followers to commit some gruesome murders hoping to start the last and final war after which he would claim the world.
Maybe these people are extremist, but it is not lies and twisted facts about them.
if you have any query abt islam and its beleives then ask directly to me i will try to answer as per my knowledge of Islam and its beleives.
Whats up with the 72 black eyed women? Is there a belief of that in Islam or has some of the leaders just twisted things to get suicide bombers?
Do Islamist consider Christians polytheist?
Did Allah really say that he will establish Muslims as rulers over the Jews?
Tell me about the Islamic caliphate and where that will be?
That should be enough to keep you busy for a while. I am truely interested in the truth and not just trying to demonize Islam.
Its the number of an ignorent and moronic american who have been misleaded and misinformed by its Gov. and education system.
Who have you been misleaded by? Americans, white, black, yellow, brown, green (OK not Green) are too busy raising families and living in a great nation to be mislead by the Government. On education, I'd put our top 25% against anyone in the world and most of the rest will do quite fine thanks to their work ethic, ingenuity and freedom to think on (or with) their feet. I like Bill Gates, Dean Kamen, and Arrrnold.
Whats up with the 72 black eyed women? Is there a belief of that in Islam
There is NO specific belief of any '72 black eyed women' in Islam, offcourse Islam do have the belief of the day of judgment, heaven and hell, according to islam heaven is place where every person who followed the path and rules given by God and his preophet will reside, in heaven a person will have and enjoy every thing what s/he wish or desire to have as reward of his/her good deeds in this world. quran used the word of beautifull valleis, rivers of milk, frsh air, delicious food and beautifull women to describe the heaven. The concept of heaven and hell is also exist in chiristianity and Judaism too, bible used somewhat similar references to describe the heaven.
so their is no specific concept of any '72 black eyed women' in Islam, its just a negative propanganda by some misinformed and evil minded people against islam and muslims
some of the leaders just twisted things to get suicide bombers?
I don't think so that anyone will decide to die just b'coz someone told him that he will go to heaven, the source of motivation for suicide bomber can not be the desir of heaven BUT its the kind of brutality, humiliation and genocide they are facing since last 50 yrs. If we look into the background of all those suicide bombers each and every one will have its own tragic story, some of them may have lost their beloved brother, father and son, some of them had to bury his/her innocent playing children of age 12,11,10,.... or even infants, some of them may have lost all of his/her family, what a person is expected to do if he/she had to face all these evil crimes!!!???certainly and naturally sh/e will decide for revenge and will try to make his enemy tast the same pain what they had to tast! in these circumstance a person has the right to show resistance to evil forces and the person will have the right to do any thing s/he can do!
what palestinian are doing with Israelis is right they have legitimacy and reasons for their actions, terror by a state can only be dealt by counter terror. when a state stop understanding the language of peacefull protest and political struggle and use its massive power against innocent and unarmed civilian then its the time to talk with them with guns, bullete and bombs.
Do Islamist consider Christians polytheist?
No, chiristians are not considered polytheist in Islam But their beleive of jesus as the son of God is wrong as per Islam, this is the only significant diference b/w Islam and chiristianity. Islam doesnot allow share on God's authority, power and mights, the need of children, food, air e.t.c is only for the creature not for the God who created all these creatures and their need too!
Did Allah really say that he will establish Muslims as rulers over the Jews?
No! But Allah told his followers that he will establish Islam throughout the world, its also quite true bcoz Islam has now spred throughout world there are muslims from every continent, every culture and society and people talking any language. its also a fastest growing religion in this world.
Tell me about the Islamic caliphate and where that will be
any place where people follow the Islamic laws, rules and regulations, where people spend their lives according to sharia and Quran will be called caliphate.
That should be enough to keep you busy for a while
it was just matter of typing for me that hardly took 5 minutes :-) I know all those questions very well. these are the obsessions what people of your ilk are facing about Islam and its beleifs but these are your problem not ours actualy you are not alone there are lots of people of your ilk in these days :-)
We are very clear and confident about Islam and its beleifs. we love it and follow it we are proud of to call us muslims!
Suicide bombing is a reprehensible and unacceptable tactic. These attacks should stop immediately...
Israel and its supporters claim that while Palestinian suicide bombers deliberately target Israeli civilians, Israel tries to avoid harming Palestinian civilians and that those who have died are "collateral damage." Hence, they argue, there is no moral equivalence between the killing of civilians by Israel and Palestinians. This defies both common sense and all the available evidence.
On the one hand, Israel wants us to believe that 400 of its own civilians were deliberately targeted, while more than three times as many dead Palestinians all somehow just got in the way of what Israel claims is its humane and disciplined army. It is, in essence, an argument that 1,500 people all died by accident.
Every human rights group that has examined Israel's practices has documented systematic and deliberate use of violence targeted at unarmed Palestinian civilians by Israeli forces. Physicians for Human Rights USA which investigated the high number of Palestinian deaths and injuries in the first months of the Intifada, concluded that:
"the pattern of injuries seen in many victims did not reflect IDF [Israel Defense Forces] use of firearms in life-threatening situations but rather indicated targeting solely for the purpose of wounding or killing."
[Source: PHR USA, 22 November 2000]
This finding was based on "the totality of the evidence" the investigators collected about:
"the high number of gunshots to the head; the volume of serious, disabling thigh injuries; the inappropriate firing of rubber bullets and rubber-coated steel bullets at close range; and the high proportion of Palestinian injuries and deaths."
The findings of Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch confirm this pattern. Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has documented and condemned the targeted use of violence against Palestinian civilians and has found evidence of systematic torture of thousands of Palestinian detainees, including children...
There can be no doubt that Israeli troops have been targeting innocent Palestinian civilians for death from the beginning of the uprising. This understanding was also reflected in UN Security Council Resolution 1322, passed on October 7, 2000, which
"Condemns acts of violence, especially the excessive use of force against Palestinians, resulting in injury and loss of human life."
In making the moral superiority claim, Israel's apologists are either shamelessly denying the irrefutable evidence cited above and are simply lying, or they are asserting that some forms of murder are morally superior to other forms of murder.
In October 2001, Harper's magazine published the "Gaza Diary" of journalist Chris Hedges. Hedges' entry for June 17, 2001 provides even more shocking evidence of the wanton and deliberate killing of Palestinian children by Israeli soldiers at Gaza's Khan Yunis refugee camp.
Hedges writes:
"I sit in the shade of a palm-roofed hut on the edge of the dunes, momentarily defeated by the heat, the grit, the jostling crowds, the stench of the open sewers and rotting garbage. A friend of Azmi's brings me, on a tray, a cold glass of tart, red carcade juice."
"Barefoot boys, clutching kites made out of scraps of paper and ragged soccer balls, squat a few feet away under scrub trees. Men in flowing white or gray galabias -- homespun robes -- smoke cigarettes in the shade of slim eaves. Two emaciated donkeys, their ribs protruding, are tethered to wooden carts with rubber wheels."
"It is still. The camp waits, as if holding its breath. And then, out of the dry furnace air, a disembodied voice crackles over a loudspeaker."
""Come on, dogs," the voice booms in Arabic. "Where are all the dogs of Khan Younis? Come! Come!""
"I stand up. I walk outside the hut. The invective continues to spew: "Son of a bitch!" "Son of a whore!" "Your mother's cunt!""
"The boys dart in small packs up the sloping dunes to the electric fence that separates the camp from the Jewish settlement. They lob rocks toward two armored jeeps parked on top of the dune and mounted with loudspeakers. Three ambulances line the road below the dunes in anticipation of what is to come."
"A percussion grenade explodes. The boys, most no more than ten or eleven years old, scatter, running clumsily across the heavy sand. They descend out of sight behind a sandbank in front of me. There are no sounds of gunfire. The soldiers shoot with silencers. The bullets from the M-16 rifles tumble end over end through the children's slight bodies. Later, in the hospital, I will see the destruction: the stomachs ripped out, the gaping holes in limbs and torsos."
"Yesterday at this spot the Israelis shot eight young men, six of whom were under the age of eighteen. One was twelve. This afternoon they kill an eleven-year-old boy, Ali Murad, and seriously wound four more, three of whom are under eighteen. Children have been shot in other conflicts I have covered -- death squads gunned them down in El Salvador and Guatemala, mothers with infants were lined up and massacred in Algeria, and Serb snipers put children in their sights and watched them crumple onto the pavement in Sarajevo -- but I have never before watched soldiers entice children like mice into a trap and murder them for sport."
I don't think its a war tactic. I think it's a suicide cult.
The only thing that seems to be tactical about them is they seem to increase in frequency whenever there is movement toward detante between Israelis and Palistinians. Or they're done when cult leaders feel they need to dish out some retribution. So they fill some poor kid's head with jihad passion, and send him out to do their dirty work.
If it was aimed at military targets, and conducted by armies I'd call it a war weapon.
To people who actually fought in wars, calling suicide bombing a war weapon is probably an insult.
The japanese kamikaze fighters used suicide air plunges - and were admired for their tenacity and dedication.
Against Abrams tanks and missiles unleashed by Israel, the only effective weapon the Palestininans have is suicide bombers.
All of Israel, and especially the settlements in captured lands are valid military targets. The Israel army thinks Bethelem and other densly populated areas are OK to direct missiles.
The Sri Lankan suicide bombers, the 911 airplane bombers fit the definition of senseless violence against civilians.
"The japanese kamikaze fighters used suicide air plunges - and were admired for their tenacity and dedication"
How many discos and pizzarias did they hit? Seems to me they went after Navy ships. I understand the French resistance had suicide bombers. But they targeted Nazi military.
"Against Abrams tanks and missiles unleashed by Israel, the only effective weapon the Palestininans have is suicide bombers."
It hasn't played out. We don't know how effective they are. It would be a sad day if they were successful, in my opinion.
The suicide bombings do, certainly elicit a response. But let me ask you something -- If the sucide bombing stopped, would Isreal unleash missles and roll Abrams tanks? They wouldn't need to, would they?
"All of Israel, and especially the settlements in captured lands are valid military targets."
And what have you done lately?
Naeem
How do we respond to this view? What can possibly be said?
I sometime imagine what the world would be like if Germany and Japan won WW2. Would Hitler have paid for oil? I'm quite sure there would be no Israel and internet. The US would probably be OK. The 3rd world would still be poor (except of course South America and Africa---they would be free and prosperous
<sarcasm>).
Naeem, are you an American citizen? Have you read our Constitution?
"Naeem, are you an American citizen? - apple-314159 "
"I am not an american citizen (Thanks God)"
I'm sure there are some American citizens on this board thanking God for the same thing, Naeem.
Thanks Apple. I needed that. Nothing better than Monty :)

Enquiring minds want to know.
Rich people have always had servants to spare them the drudgery of
having to beat the dust out of rugs; the advent of vacuum cleaners spared
the common man of that kind of drudgery. Henry Ford became very rich,
but the benefits reaped by the common man by being able to afford an
auto trivialized whatever gains were reaped by Ford. Air conditioning
and air travel, as late as the '50s, were something for the well-to-do;
now, half the poor people have air conditioning and travel by air, and
more than half own automobiles. In the 19th century, almost all
teen-agers toiled in factories or fields.
Now, nine in 10 attend high school. Today's Americans have three times
more leisure time than their great-grandparents did. The price of food
relative to wages has plummeted: In the early part of this century, the
average American had to work two hours to earn enough to purchase a
chicken, compared with 20 minutes today.
College professors, politicians and others whose agenda calls for
increased government control over our lives promote the lie that things
are getting worse. If we buy into that lie, we'll kill the goose that lays the
golden eggs. We might ask ourselves: Why is it that so much of the
progress of the past 100 years has originated in America?
http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/williams.html
please briefly discuss political and economic repression and stagnation in these nations: 1.Lebanon 2. Syria,3. Sudan, 4.
I have been in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Libya many times BUT did not find any political and economic repression in these countries there are no significant political uprising in these countries people are living very peacefully and harmoniously (what you american don't Like
actualy) especialy Saudi Arabia which is almost like a seccond home for me, lots of my family members and relatives live in SA. people have no restrictions on their economical activities they do business and earn money freely.
Naeem Siddiqui
You mention Lebanon. Talk to us a bit about the Syrian occupation of Lebanon. How do Syrians treat 'palestinians'?
How many Jews live in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Syria etc. today? The same regions 300 years ago?
http://store.yahoo.com/jewish146/juslettowor.html
In 1920, 1921 and 1929, there were no territories of 1967 to impedepeace between Jews and Arabs. Indeed, there was no
Jewish State to upset anybody.
Nevertheless, the
same oppressed and repressed 'Palestinians'
slaughtered hundreds of Jews in Jerusalem, Jaffa,
Safed and Hebron. Indeed, 67 Jews were slaughtered
one day in Hebron - in 1929. Dear world, why did the
Arabs - the Palestinians - massacre 67 Jews in one
day in 1929? Could it have been their anger over
Israeli aggression in 1967? And why were 510 Jewish
men, women and children slaughtered in Arab riots in
1936-39? Was it because of Arab upset over 1967?
Me---> BTW 1n 1929 there was no Israel, Algeria, Sudan, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Pakistan etc.
http://www.us-israel.org/jsource/History/dates.html
How many Jews live in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Syria etc. today?
It's great in Saudi Arabia as long as you're a Muslim.
U.S. soldiers weren't even allowed to bring Bibles into that country during the Gulf War.
Compare the treatment/freedoms of muslims here in the U.S. to Christians or Hindu's in those countries mentioned...... Nuff Said.
As Ares would say....
</sarcasm>.
Or something like that.
It's great in Saudi Arabia as long as you're a Muslim. ---- THX 1138
what the hell those hundreds of american oil companies are doing in SA and Gulf :-)

--Agence France Presse
Carter is an idiot.

Whose land is it? --- me2
A Land is for the people who are living there for thousands of years not for the people who escaped or pushed from throughout the world but this fact is bayond your brain b'coz US itself is country who have no roots in history of human civilization and have no formal culture and values of it own!

In the southwestern city of Quetta, thousands of people gathered at a stadium to mourn Kansi.
its simply called judicial murder

Naeem,
I know you can read and write the English language and I assume you can understand the Hebrew(?) language, so I will ask you to watch a movie that can be seen in the Realplayer software. It is translated into English writing on the screen and I want to know two things.
1. Is it translated correctly?
2. Your thought on what is said in the movie.
Thanks.
Regards
the web site you are mentioning is a total junk of shit lies and twisted facts or you can say utter nonsense!
Naeem,
Who have you been misleaded by?
ISRAELI "MORAL SUPERIORITY"?

Dennis quotes
Suicide bombing is a reprehensible and unacceptable tactic
I disagree.
Warfare commenced with swords and then progressively escalated in ferocity. The final culmination has been nukes.
Suicide bombing is just another war weapon.
Why pick on it alone??
To cowards, I suppose they are.
Well said Rick.
