It must have been 1971. He always had the newest Caddy. The first to come out with electric windows if I remember correctly. Only because we were beaten top a pulp if we played with them. ;-)
I joked to my bro that I thought it was funny that Pho-Quan means Phil-Up in Vietnamese ;-)
I had an uncle who always drove Caddys too. I remember when he got a trunk opener..you know...you pushed a button inside and the trunk popped open. We thought that was just magical! That must have been in the 50's.
My apologies, THX - I was duped. I feel like Dan Rather. The fake showed up at my forum, and this kid Damon vouched for him as real, so - having never posted with you - I was taken in quite easily.
All you need to change it out is a long blond wig. My grandson will probably be trick or treating at your house this year, Kitch. He'll be the big pumpkin with a lit up face.
wow- I havn't been here in days and there are only 4 posts!

well, I found out Mark got a call from the vet yesterday but he wanted the right time to tell me about it. Taiga (pronounced- Tie-ga) is our dogs name -female rottweiler -will be 7 years on Nov. 4.Â
She was named Taigafor the boreal forest exists as a nearly continuous belt of coniferous trees across North America and Eurasia. Overlying formerly glaciated areas and areas of patchy permafrost on both continents, the forest is mosaic of successional and subclimax plant communities sensitive to varying environmental conditions. Taiga is the Russian name for this forest which covers so much of that country. However, the term is used in North America as well.
after xrays Monday, doctor says she has been diagnosed an 80% chance of cancer. we have to see if these pills help any infection that she may have had from possible pneumonia - if she still weezes by Sunday than she has the cancer :(Â ---xrays showed a mass the size of a baseball near her lungs and heart which is putting preasure on and twisted her osophagus.
Â
moms husband is doing worse today. they found pneumonia on his lung this morning and have now paralized and sedated him -on 100% oxygen.
Â
did I mention yet that Marks parents dog died last week of Lyme :(
Â
Great news: Sarahs volleyball team Ramsey beat Murray Jr yesterday! yeeeah!
btw, i'm anticpating coolercrew.com being down this saturday morning. i'm replacing the main electrical panel to the house, and there isn't enough ups power to carry the load while it gets replaced.
Got some my self last monday. Seems my uncle who has been debilitated and wheel chair bound since about 1992 decided he didn't want to put my aunt through it no more. He went out on the deck with a 22 rifle when she was gone. Now he's gone. Really shocked us all.
Sad thing is that the doctors never really did figure out what was wrong with him exept to say it was neurological. They never could do anything about his condition and it just kept getting worse to the point he wasn't able to communicate hardly. Really sad. He just quit going to the doctors 2 yrs ago since they couldn't do anything or give him anything for his condition.
It has been a difficult and trying 10 days! wow :( when some other Cooler members were losing great aunts and grandparents this month I had no idea I would be one of them too :( I am tired and sad.
thank you for being sooo supportive and your thoughts for me - and an extra thanks to Sue for constantly calling and checking up on me-it's not like you don't have enough going on with a wedding next month.
Now, on top of everything else: my throat is sore, I was sneezing all day yesterday, my eyes are sore (from crying and lack of sleep too)Â AND my nose is running! uuuuuuggggg
no dog news for now - she is laying around the house being moeppy.
All of my good news is with my kids-so if I didn't have them than my life would be more $#!ty right now.
Sarahs birthday party was plain/drabby this year but fun! We have always gone somewhere fun or big sleepovers-but not this year-just too much sad family things going on - It was funny last night seeing so many kids in the basement making playstation2 videos on the tv with the eye-toy she got at Christmas. She is 13 now-reminds me of that Brittney Spears tune-still a girl not yet a woman- she had a cookie monster theme (sesame street)but she is very self guiding and shows maturity. ----I was sneaking out of the house at 12 ;p ...
she is on the volleyball team, art class, plays clarinet daily and is in all challenge classes.
By the way
Ramsey Jr  beat Cleveland Jr and is now 2-0 -sweeet. I think I can get into this school spirit thing!
Beans starts Brownies-Girl Scouts next week---sooooo if no one else has kids selling cookies this Spring than keep us in mind- By no means will I become a den mother -I do not own a mini-van either! But I love the school spirit --- we bought paints for the truck windows and construction paper for signs, all in the school colors Greenand Yellow.
I have to rave a little more:Â Beans teacher told me this week that Beans tested 1st (top) of the whole 3rd grade in Reading! Pats self on the back :)
oh, a small comment about Ares and TC's wedding - take note of the address: 1669 --- I don't even know what street its on cause I was laughing too much at the number.
They coulda chose any church in the world but they got the one church with 69 in it! hahaha
he didn't want to put my aunt through it no more. He went out on the deck with a 22 rifle when she was gone
Sorry 3M. I just had a good friend of mine hang himself a little over a month ago. Sad shit when it happens. My question to you is who discovered him? I know people aren't exactly thinking rationally during that period of time but if he was so concerned for your aunt's well being, I hope he planned ahead and called the cops before he did it to spare her the gruesome image. If not, I'd pay really close attention to her since that's something that could put someone over the edge in a heartbeat. My condolences.
New babies, new weddings, sad good-byes to friends and loved ones.  I can definately say that here at cooler crew we are experiencing it all right now!! All my condolences mrmnmikey!Â
just wanted 2 let everyone know that i'm still alive. just been really busy working and trying 2 get my car fixed. everything's going great so far. i'm sorry 2 hear about everyone's lost loved ones. i know how much it hurts. i'm happy 2 hear about all of the good news :) we sooooo need 2 have a get together. maybe some kind of pre halloween thing where we can dress up or something fun?? I wanted 2 have one in sept but w/everything that i've had going on it's been crazy! I'm going nukken futz!!
Talked to jake for a few mins.... was a nice little chat....
(more I think about it ....I'm surprised he wasn't ticked off at me! :)Â Â Â Â )
Good luck to them on the booya.....lots of good food!!!
Maybe I will vote for Don.....I should have tracked him down and talked to him...but I've had a few beers  and needed to get home to prep for a family dinner.... (SARMA tonight)
Sorry to hear about the loss of loved ones. Death is part of the circle of life, but it never is easy for those left to grieve. Thoughts and prayers going out for all of you dealing with these losses.
I don't have any links to it yet, but Kollin (freshman) had the highest average on the Mankato team, at his first college bowling tournament ... beat his brother by 10 pins !
It must have been 1971. He always had the newest Caddy. The first to come out with electric windows if I remember correctly. Only because we were beaten top a pulp if we played with them. ;-)

It's on Nicolett just across 94 from downtown.
Sorry I'm anal - I mean it's a
1972 Cadillac Coupe deVille
Apparently I'm way off on the electric windows too. Sheesh. Time to go home and have a drink already.
Daimler introduced electric windows in cars in 1948.
I had an uncle who always drove Caddys too. I remember when he got a trunk opener..you know...you pushed a button inside and the trunk popped open. We thought that was just magical! That must have been in the 50's.

Â
That's cool, Iceman.
Damon probably thought it was me, so don't blame him either.
funny that Pho-Quan means Phil-Up in Vietnamese ;-)
sound it out like: Phoq juan in American= ^u(%Â John! -whooopsÂ
I will never forget sitting on the big Armrest in the middle of my grandpa's caddy......what the heck is a setbelt anyways????
Â
I just found out my daughter wants to dress up this year as "alice in wonderland".
Its not much of a change from her "outfit" from last year....."dorothy from oz".
Â
All you need to change it out is a long blond wig. My grandson will probably be trick or treating at your house this year, Kitch. He'll be the big pumpkin with a lit up face.
At my old house.....we used to get like 5 kids all night......
so....last year I just put out the entire bowl on the steps and went to a party.......
came back at the end of the night and it looked like only 12 pieces or so was even taken.
wow- I havn't been here in days and there are only 4 posts!
