Hey all - Finally got all the slogging caught up - gheez!  Maybe one of these years, I'll have a job that'll allow me access!

Natalie went to school (community kindergarten half day) yesterday, but it completely wiped her out.  She came home and went straight to bed and slept through.  The fever is gone, but today she came home with a headache.  Being the age that she is, it can be hard to tell if it's as bad as she makes it seem - couldn't say where it hurt, just everywhere.  She screamed for awhile and I just held her and tried to get her to be still.  She fell asleep, then I had to wake her up for more ibuprofen.  Sure hope we see the end of this soon (and that the rest of us remain healthy through hunting time!)

Terry - the fever is gone, but not sure about being on the mend.  She literally *screamed* for 15 minutes.....kinda worried about her headache.  But maybe it's just that she hasn't *had* that kind of pain before (and crying/screaming sure didn't help!).

Outta -- I'm not sure if I'll be able to bring the cans we've got to the gig tomorrow night or not....but if it doesn't work out, we can still pass them along to your daughter's future efforts...

I'll be bringin 'em to the PDG.  There's no better way to break in the Map Guy's book than to spill beer on it.  That makes it come alive.

New this edition....bigger maps for the big parks.  My personal opinions on the smaller parks.....and a virtual walk through Indian Mounds.  Well-as virtual as I could make it in the last two months.

Oh, just an update too on a few of the Coolerheads.  I talked with Lisa n Amy's Mommy a bit tonight.  She wants to come on but is having problems remembering her password.  She hopes to have the problem rectified in a few days.  Also Mystical Muzik has been unable to come on because of phone problems.  She has some good news to share, but I will leave that for her to tell you when she does come back.

TMK is retired?

At least he's not Rather otherwise it would sound a little like this:

A few people called me tonight. One of them was the clue writer who, low and behold, has actually been Jake all this time.  He says it already hidden in Cono so go out and get it.  Newbie also called and admitted that he was indeed Greg Sax.  He says the hunt just isn't the same since he was the clue writer years ago. But did predict that Green would find it this year since she already has it in her possession.

Hello all cooler people. I see I missed alot while I was away.
I am sad to tell you that my Father passed away last night.
I thought I was prepared for this, but apparantly not.
I'm a spinning, reeling frustrated coolerhead right now.
I know some of you have lost parents, and have issued a forewarning, and I thank you.- But why did you not tell me it would hurt this bad?
....Sorry.- Not your fault, I'm just in a morose place just now.

There is something we call a suck out or thermal extraction.... The center conductor of the trunk cables sometimes get just a little bit to cold. They lost connectivity as they pull back and we end up with tons of very small outages all over the place. The last cold spell we had got rid of the last batch. But this stuff will be below -8 so there is sure to be those few that needed just a little more cold to make them go.

Good Morning!

KT, I am so very sorry to read about your father.  I don't think there is a way to prepare for these events that happen in your life.  If any of us would have been able to describe the pain and difficulties, you wouldn't have been able to believe or understand....until now.

We are praying for peace to descend upon you.....you have a huge extended family here waiting to help out in any way that they can, don't be afraid to reach out if you need us.
