Oh, KT. I'm so terribly sorry. I tried calling you last nite (Wed) because you'd not been around and I was worried. Tried to call today, but no answer. I'll try again tonite. Is Nora around to help? Know I love you. (((((KT)))))
KT, I'm sorry to hear about your father. Eventually the pain eases and becomes a dull ache that flares up unexpectedly. But there are also wonderful times when you share stories and laugh with others who knew him. Don't ever stop talking about him or sharing those stories. It's the best medicine.
KT - So sorry for your loss. Even when it's expected and you think you're prepared, nothing stings like the loss of a loved one. As you go through the next few days and weeks, I hope you find peace through the love of family and friends. You know we love you and would take this pain from you if we could.
of course, this winter we can fit both vehicles in the garage, unlike last winter, when it was so cold during the hunt that i couldn't even get my car to turn over after it had sit out all night.
I know some of you have lost parents, and have issued a forewarning, and I thank you.- But why did you not tell me it would hurt this bad? Â Sorry about your loss! ESD is right, you gotta keep going no matter how hard it is.
And now I really miss Me2. Sorry bout your Mother in law! Hope she's doing ok now.
I had one of those electronic starters installed in my Jeep yesterday. Just in time for this cold snap! I love spoiling myself. ;)
Dang! Thank you SO MUCH! Your words heal. Your support astounds me. You know what? I feel safe here- I can feel any way I need to, and nothing is expected of me. It's getting a little overwhelming trying to figrue out how to respond to all the people calling me. I feel like saying nothing- I robotically thank them, and say what is expected. When I really want to say F**********! We PAID that nursing home to care for him, and they did not. They ignored him, and in effect killed him. His throat tissues were so damaged from the dehydration he could not breathe, could not swallow...Fuch! I want to scream- mourning is far from my mind right now. I vascillate from one feeling to another. You're just getting the pissed off KT right now- And that's why I love you guys. I can be this way, and you accept it- You don't get scared, and I don't feel like I have to spare you. On a different note, Tuesday my Dad was moved from the Virginia hospital to a Catholic hospice, and was prayed over continuously, and was given last rites & sacraments by a Priest. All the meds had been stopped, and the struggling and tremors the Dr. told them were absent when he was moved. No shaking- no scared/confused look. He passed away in his sleep. Right now, he's with his King- a whole, functioning body, eating blueberry pie, and playing a harmonica. My work is so cool- they said to take all the time I need, and they would log in hours to cover my insurance, they said they know I'm good for it. oh- man! I feel better now. Thank you.
That's cool your job has your back. I don't think mine would do that for me. I would let that anger feeling run it's course otherwise you'll be bouncing back and forth and making yourself an emotional punching bag. This has got to be super tough for you KT especially because it could have been prevented. I'm just glad to hear he was at peace in the end.
Don't be afraid to scream and punch that pillow of yours KT. It'll work wonders.
Glad you are going to give them a try Mucluck. You will really like them.
Word to the wise - the super orange (if you got it) doesn't disolve as fast as the tangerine or the lemon lime - you may need to stir it a little more. But it tastes super yummy.
My friend who works in a daycare swears by the combo too - she does daycare - and hasn't gotten sick with all the snot mongers running around in 2 years... that's pretty incredible.
KT - I am soo sorry to hear about your loss. I understand your anger at the Nursing Home as well. I spent 4 very long years as part of a team that went in and *fixed* those types of problems and there are things you can do, to have your concerns heard - and maybe save someone else's life. (i.e. file complaints with the state / federal licensing etc.) If you are interested IM me, and I will get you the info.
No kidding TV! My son-in-law left his van here until Sunday and I went out to warm it up. Hope I don't have to do that too many more times. The ironic thing is, I got my remote starter yesterday so I wouldn't have to go out in this weather!
I've lost my three best bras. I'm beside myself, a drift, and at loose ends. I've heard o'The Sock Monster, but The Bra Monster? GIVE ME A BREAK! I've torn this house apart and can't find them! AAARRRGGGGHHHH!
So, shopping Sat to replace that that I've lost. PI$$ me OFF!!! HOW does one lose supin' like that???? (I know where my car izz...)
I'm outty. Nytol, and SCDs and MCL to each and every one o'you. Thinking of Me2 and KT especially. Hugs to both o'you.
OT - That's just not right. And from the sound of the forecast, it won't be the last time you'll be out doing that before Sunday.
Goodnight and SCDs green. Maybe you'll dream about where you left your bras. Hehehehehehehe At least you know where your car is. :-)
I think I'm going to head for the sheets. This week has been exhausting. Good news is the Feds should be done with us by day's end tomorrow. Having them around has been just a tad bit crazy making. Questions, questions, questions...and then how are you supposed to get your work done!?!?
I have my suit out and my tie is tied, shoes are shined, shirt is irironed all ready for the big interview at Budget signs in the morning. Wish me luck.
Hope so I wouldn't mind working in a sign shop again, never thought I would say that I hated vinyl signs for a long time after they put me out of work.
I have an inkling that maybe you have been in contact with Grandpa Dan???
Not yet he hasn't Zephyrus, but I do have a nice picture of you in a tuxedo with a lovely lady in white standing next to ya that I would be willing to auction off to the highest bidder. Or perhaps the one of you at about 7 years old with a BB gun in one hand and a little bird in the other that was taken out at your grandmother's farm would bring in a higher bid. I'll have to take a look around the house to see if there is any embarassing pictures of you. Perhaps your mom has some that I can borrow and scan for the good posters here to have a gander at. Hahaha.
