Cooler Crew begins preparations for 2003 Medallion Hunt
The die hards, rookies, fair-weather treasure hunters, and Medallionators had all better be ready. The Cooler Crew, a 6 year team of expert treasure hunters, are prepared to take on their most serious challenge, the Pioneer Press Medallion Hunt.
THX 1138, CoolerCrew sysop, heads the team. Recruiting has gone well during the past 'off-season'. Members of the Crew include a numerologist, engineer, social worker, mystic, rastaman, and beautician. Many other talents are signing up daily.
Aiding the Cooler Crew for this year's hunt will be kingboreas, a World Class geocacher, and skilled GPSr operator. kingboreaswill receive assistance from JCBoys (Mr Med Hunter), Clue Master, Centris, towlebooth, and others, as they are trained. Watch for the "Cooler Crew" at the Pioneer Press for the clue releases during this years hunt.
The Pioneer Press Medallion Hunt has been an annual event in St. Paul since 1952 and takes place during the St. Paul Winter Carnival.
