Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) is caused by a virus that is transmitted by mosquitoes. It is actually a disease of birds, and in most years it remains in bird populations, posing minimal danger to humans and horses.

yeah, and doesn't he carry a concealed weapon? probably not a good idea to charge him, i don't want to die over a puck in the snow, or dirt or whatever

My first instinct was triple E= Tripoli, but couldn't really find a good connection in St.Paul. I think for now I'll stick to the theory of a wide door on a building with 3 E's in its name/sign. Going to search for one...

What bugs me about this clue is that it doesn't say how it fits into the puzzle. It doesn't say look for it. It doesn't say it's nearby. It's just there.

Actually it's a triple E. Not sure yet. It might just mean wide, but it seems to me that the clue in general is referring to something you can go to anytime and keep warm, and the triple E might be a clue as to which thing that's open 24 hours you should be looking at. I searched for any businesses with "EEE" but only came up with two in Minneapolis.

Kellogg is moving up except for the fact I have a hard time believeing they would actually hide it there. But it does seem to fit the clues pretty well thus far.
