all de white castles are open 24 hours, but you can go inside the lexi/uni one, not sure if you can the rice/uni one, but the white bear larp one you can:)
"Away from the storm" really suggests to me "shelter". "Keep yourself warm" suggests fire. But the only picnic shelter I know of with a firepit is at Crosby and you can't see the Capitol from there.
The rest of it just makes me think of Creed singing "With Doors Wide Open".
Im a die hard beleive it wont be at mounds EVER (phalen too green;). but anyone else thrown off my erie ness of the closeness to the 98 clues. like seeing the dome, but near it, and in 98, people were up set you couldnt see the capitol from where it was found, but form the park you could. the references to doors, and yadda yadda, ok. i shut up now. gotta do homework.
How about a cave in battlcreek away from the storm drains? It's shelter from the storm, always warm, even in the dead of winter. Cave doors are always open and I think they widened them so that they don't cave in. Tripoli means three cities together. So could it be a park where three cities meet? 3M is by this park along with 3 cities (St Paul,Woodbury, Mapelwood)Storm=To charge or attack with a powerful force=BATTLECREEK! 3M Capital ,3 cities tripoli?
I guess the 4 hours sleep I got last night plus the 3 from the night before ought to be enough for a coupla days, right?
I don't think I've ever been down to the paper building when it wasn't a weekend or something. Last night, I wound up taking a half hour nap, begged Dad to get me up at 11:00, had my cell phone alarm and him bugging me. It worked, but that clue....I just couldn't make ANY sense out of it. So sorry I was being a lurker - just didn't have anything to say.
The 2 things I *did* get.....someone posted about Tripoli meaning where 3 cities come together (although I haven't been able to verify that definition)...Cherokee comes pretty darned close with St. Paul, West St. Paul and Lilydale. It's still not my favorite yet, don't have one of those. Maybe after tonight!!
OH YEAH! I said 2 things....this may be really dumb of me. But after I made myself go back to bed last night, I couldn't sleep, just sort of re-reading the clue.
Anyway, my problem with what I'm thinking, is I've never heard the name of this park pronuonced. Eileen Weida (W-I-D-E uh)??? I'm thinking EEE=wide=Weida. I dunno, it looks like a pretty small park, but the GUIDE does say it has views of the Capitol.
I am really at a loss with this last one - it'll be interesting to find out what it is they're trying to tell us.
Seems pretty unlikely we'd be getting names of parks this early on. I just haven't been able to make anything else out of it. And the door always open thing -- wassup with that?? Of COURSE it's open to those that enter! Otherwise, they wouldn't be ENTERRING! Nah, I really think the last part of the clue is just there for rhyming.
Bugg's ?
You were at Bugg's? Are you now Medallionated?
Invasion of the Body Snatchers ... check out what happened to Jake.
Me and J might show up the night the 6th clue comes out again, but wont know till it's time to go, since it's also the night of an ICP concert.
ICP concert
I was thinking about going tell I seen the date!
I think it's close to Scheffer actually, which also has a view of the Capitol.

Peltier, how come that name rings a bell???

Not to mention EilEEn has three E's in it and "Wide as" anagrams to Weidas.
Wide as triple E, sure sounds like Eileen Weida.
It reminds me of AW's practice clue "I lean wide-a"
Off to the salt mine - Happy Hunting!
Hey, you're in the salt mine too. Small world. I'm usually in the deepest, dankest, darkest depths. Nobody can find me.
