I thought the clues were the best kept secret in St. Paul, and limited to the clue writer and only given to the printers at the last minute. How would someone not associated with the paper have seen any clues?

I don't think she meant it to be taken seriously as a real clue.

I saw Scribe @ the Klondike Kate crowning... lol but not almost until the very end. I thought I had saw her earlier but couldn't tell until she finally walked right by me. Nice to see ya last night Scribe!! As I told her last night.. I'm still debating if I want 2 try out 2 be a Kate or not... the sucky part of it is, if I were to win, and that's a BIG if because there's a lot of good talent, I would have to give up the hunt.... and I dunno if I could do that... :neutral:

I love working downtown

coulda gotten a ride on the vulcs fire truck but I had a full schedule at work thisafternoon...some of us DO work

even got free lunch today for my whole office from the Erberts sub place - got talking to the right person about history today and he said 'hey have you had their subs yet' - I say no and they say they will call someone to send over lunch for everyone! SAWWWEEEEET!

I posted this in the shoot the breeze as well...i don't want to be a pest, just want to get the word out!!!

I thought I would throw this out there and see what people thought. I'd like to put a disclaimer on here that by no means am I trying to step on anyone's toes or control anything by throwing out my idea, I just simply want to share and get feedback.

I've been tossing around the idea of having some clothing embroidered and have gotten some quotes. I'm going to go into the embroidery place tomorrow and see if it's possible to get anything done by the pre-dig. How it works is, there's a set-up fee and then a fee per item of clothing made. You can either bring in your own item of clothing or buy the stuff they already have there. here's a link (this is for the roseville store, click on "wearables" up at the top).

If I set this up and I'm able to get things done by the pre-dig, would anyone be interested in placing an order? I believe that the cost would be around $20 or so for a t-shirt, more for a sweatshirt. And as I said, once the design is set-up, people can also bring in their own stuff (like face masks, hats, gloves, etc.), but it'll have to be to the Roseville location. However, because the set-up fee is a pretty big one, I would ask on the honor system for you to flip me a small fee, like $5 or so.

yeah, i was definitely thinking of hooded.

I'll take a look at colors and see what would work best with the logo colors. maybe gray. white would be awesome, but i'd have to wash it a lot. :smile:
