Ares - you should have seen it. Those guys worked so hard on all that digging.

my best overachiever memory was the guy who shoveled out the baseball diamond on the southeast ballfield at conway.

Had an ice rink. Just west of the building there. There used to also be an old wagon, reminiscent of the old west days.

Terry

That rink was used for hockey. I remember those guys digging in the snow mounds around that rink while a hockey game was going on.

I've got your email

but seriously ...don't put me in charge of this....

I don't care what you do...I don't know if we have space...and I don't really wanna call them...

I've gotta find a HOE and a pair of gloves.

otherwise I think I'm almost set.

Lilman - as much as I think music would be great in the right setting, we have been upstairs at McGovern's one other time. It's hard enough to hear oneself think without any extra distractions.

Maybe the rehash bash would be better - once we figure out where that will be.

Of course, if anyone else has any other ideas, speak up.
Mon, 01/16/2006 - 7:53 PM Permalink
ares

the rehash would definitely rock to have music at. anyone have a generator in case there's no electricity at the smaller park it'll be found in? (on the other hand i could buy one with some of my winnings after i turn it in  )
Mon, 01/16/2006 - 7:56 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

I've never been upstairs and don't know what it's like. I do like music.
Mon, 01/16/2006 - 7:56 PM Permalink
Terry

I love music.

Just not sure that place could take the extra distraction. The noise level got deafening with just talk. The acoustics upstairs is what I'm thinking makes it not such a good idea.

Maybe someone wants to head down there say on Friday night and check it out.
Mon, 01/16/2006 - 7:59 PM Permalink
ares

i've been up there before and it can get rather loud.
Mon, 01/16/2006 - 7:59 PM Permalink
Terry

Or I could buy one with my winnings.

Once you get the medallion, you have to actually turn it in to collect the winnings. You can't let your kids put it back.

:goofy: *runs for the door*

Smart stuff there TMK - but I made her put it back and you'd best be running!

Mon, 01/16/2006 - 8:17 PM Permalink

Mon, 01/16/2006 - 8:20 PM Permalink

Mon, 01/16/2006 - 8:21 PM Permalink
Terry

Nice recovery, ares.

I don't know that I've had the pleasure of seeing TMK running.

Care to describe that?
Mon, 01/16/2006 - 8:21 PM Permalink
Terry
