For the first time in the past few years, our daughter will not be attending the Pre-Dig Gig. She will be in California looking at grad schools. She's disappointed about the timing.

I am hopeful, however, that our son will be coming with us this year. He hasn't given up hunting like his sister has.

Grad schools? In California?

What area is she going to pursue?

One of her choices is here - but she would love to be where it's warmer.

She wants to go into youth and family ministry - focusing on adoption issues.

I'm going to head for the sheets. Work returns tomorrow morning and the weekend will be busy. No sense being sleep deprived yet.

Actually, you may have to imagine that, Med2k. I now live about as far away from the Pioneer Press office as one can get and still be in St. Paul.

It's been fun, but I think my days as first online with the clue are done.
