If I'm paying for sledding for the fam, I gotta go Green Acres. I've been goin there since I was a kid, try to get out there every year.
Other than that, my wife would be the pro on free sledding hills in the Saint Paul area. I know if anybody lives in the Fridley area, Common Park off 7th St and 63rd by the Jr. High has a couple awesome sledding hills, one bigger and one smaller.
South Valley is better than North Valley as far as sliding goes even if NV has a bigger hill. Call me if you want to hook up over the weekend with the girls.
OK I'm not sure if there is a reason for htis or not but I'd rather only have to click on this thread one time to open it. Right now it's set up as a folder...then this thread is the only thing in the folder....can we get rid of the fodler and just have the thread? Does that make sense to anyone but me...did I word that right?
I think it's set up like this so they can add other threads like the park pool and a noodling thread for this year's hunt. It seems awkward now because there is only this one.
The 2008 Pioneer Press Treasure was found shortly after midnight on January 29 in Indian Mounds Park after 11 clues. The lucky finders are the brother and sister team of Andrew Burke, 21, of Knapp, Wisconsin, and Jessica French, 26, of Baldwin, Wisconsin. The pair had clipped the clues, and had a registered Winter Carnival Button, netting them the full $10,000 prize, plus the $1,200 in Cub Foods gift certificates.

Unless they modified the hill since they built the new neighborhood down there.
Then don't go.
