Very interesting. I don't think Foundry because I highly doubt they'd give the street the park is on in the first clue. Then again, nothing would surprise me at this point.
now, "up front" could also point a few blocks north of Front, which would be....... *drum roll*..... CoNo
There's only a few parks it could be if it's interpreted as Front Ave.
As far as Boxmeyer, didn't he say he loved the really hard hunts and hated when it was found right away? If that's the case, they better be trying to make this one of the hardest yet... BUT, in the end the clues still have to make sense, so if the solver is on his/her game it could still be found between clue 7-10
Boxmeyer retired from the PP in 2002, it was hidden at Merriam that year... doubt they'd put it there again this year..
somewhat interesting that we have "up front" and "at rest" considering the two cemeteries at the front end and back end of Front Ave.
That's pretty much all I can get out of this clue though. I doubt they gave away TOO much but there's definitely something in there.
"unleash"... somebody on the PP board said Como has an off-leash dog area, but as far as I know there's only one park in St. Paul that does... and it's not Como...
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. more rectangle-shaped than box shaped, but still
The only things that stick out to me in the first clue are "unleash" and that could maybe reference and off leash dog park. Then there is the use of colons. For some strange reason I think that the punctuation that they use in the clues is always interesting. Then there is up front. Is that referencing Front St. and saying that it is above front as in North of Front? That is all I got. I am looking forward to tonight and seeing so many people.
Box" was a life-long resident of St. Paul who was born on the West End, but spent much of his life on the East Side,That gave him "dual citizenship" in the city of neighborhoods
I hope you're wrong Allison... if you're right that could put it at Cherokee, and apparently if it's at Cherokee or Highland it's going to be a short hunt... lol

The most famous of off leash dog areas must be Arlington/Arkwright - I remember when Allison was poking around that park. There is also one at BC.
There is also an off leash area on the north side of Larpenteur just east of Dale St. making it out of the city.
Beaver Lake? BC?? In two cities???
