I think hubby had tv on there was something about shamwow on a late night talk show...all night I had a make-believe jingle running through my head because the best jingle would win some contest???!!!! ......strange.....

Here is a question:

If the press had more than one hunt, say they had one in the summer every year. Would that spoil the fun and anticipation of the winter hunt or would everyone like 2 hunts?

I would love 2 hunts...

But the WC one takes preference over all others, no matter what, as far as i'm concerned...

I'm all for the pioneer press running a summer hunt!

But it sounded like they were worried about parks getting destroyed with thousands of people searching in the summer so I doubt it will happen again :frown:

yup - and funny thing is I'm planning on checking the as seen on tv store at moa - even though the commercial says don't be fooled by imitations -made in Germany! I know the commercial well! I didn't even know I wanted them but too late for xmas :frown:

I have to have it before the fair though.

At the State Fair this year, I got a reusable grocery bag. I think the pollution control agency was giving them out.

It folds up to a nice size that will fit in a purse or easy to spot in the car when you are going in for groceries.

On the outside of the bag, it says "reduce.org".

And I wondered, does that make it a re-duce bag?

I would think the Summer Wild hunt proved otherwise. there wern't thousands and no parks were damaged.

that link is f bleeping hilarious!!! thanks for finding it!

usually this is the main discussion. Some people drop subscriptions to other places during the hunt just so they can keep up here. There are sometimes other folders like the noodle recap folders. I didn't do it last year (I don't think) and don't plan on doing one this year because it takes up so much time. With work and stuff I'm a little pressed for time. I think we did have a discussion just for clues last year that was read only so people could get the clues without reading everything. (Maybe I'm wrong?) With the clues online though, I don't see why we couldn't just have a link up top to them (at TC.com) or something. Tabs in our browsers helps too. I keep one tab open just for clues so I can swithch back and forth easy.

Heres a tip:

If your in a hurry you can click the little arrow next to the discussion in the menu and get an "outline" of the discussion without reading every message. You can skim through the 1st few words of all the posts and read a lot faster.

Riding a lawnmower over a beaver. . . I know that there is a bawdy joke there, but I am going to take the high road and let you all imagine what I would say and why I just almost spit coke all over the keyboard. If you guys keep setting me up like this I will have enough material to make it on the Tonight Show!

The website I want to link to is down right now, but you can get the general idea by going to google - images and searching for bodyscape riding lawnmower.

I listen to him occassionally but not yesterday. Did he mention what park?

I was kind of wondering if the deed was going to be done yesterday/ last night before what could be the last substantial snowfall before the hunt.
