The origin of the name piskie or pixie is uncertain. However, some have claimed it to come from the Swedish dialectal pyske meaning small fairy.[3] Others, however, have disputed this claiming that due to the Cornish origin of the piskie that the term is probably Celtic in origin, though no known Celtic ancestor of the word is known.[4]
All of these clues are dancing around the Park. I have a feeling they'll keep this crap up another night, not DARING to give two streets that can align like "crosshairs" over the hiding spot. Nighty Night, Folks. Call me if a Cooler digs the thing up. I got work in the morning.
Just a quick noodle from the top romin of noodles here...as we all still ponder and query which park this park that park- I just reread 1-9..nowhere does it say park.
Ok since everyone's here ...I've been rethinking the whole moll/doll thing.
We've been looking for molls of actual historical gangsters but what if it's a fictional gangster character? Like The Godfather trilogy, Goodfellas, The Sopranos....
I'm not much of a mobster movie fan.... been checking out Tony Soprano's girlfriend.... still working this angle...help?
We talked a bit about movies last night at the PP, but there have been so many that no one really knew where to start, so we dropped that line of questioning.
Tony had many, many, many girlfriends in the Sopranos, so it would be hard to pick one.
I'm not fluent enough in the gangster movies to comment on them.
Wow, LOTS of bad information floating around the press board.. also a fair amount of good noodling, except leading to Harriet where I'm pretty sure they'll find nothing but garbage and maybe a prank or two..
Hopefully if it's found tomorrow it'll be found by somebody on here.
Not exclusively Swede Hollow, but when I see "approach" in the clue, i can't help but remember the loud sound of Leer jets flying low as they "approach" the St. Paul field...several parks are on the approach, but just one more use of the word...
Well darn it I went out and followed a couple others who had some great noodles for a non SH park and of course we got nadda...now I wish I would have noodled a little more. I like those street references. I'll noodle some at work tomorrow before I go back out. SCD's all
you ready to "concede to Swede" yet? I've finally come to accept as a certainty that it's there... somewhere... or maybe just on the outskirts, more along the trail.. but somewhere in the general vicinity
BTW for anybody who cares, my wife just got back from Swede... Park PoPo were there, and she only saw two hunters, who were both leaving... so it's safe to say the puck is freezing away safely at least until daylight...
Its gettin too late, and todays clue is running into Sweede. I just didn't want to accept, it being the first day and we were noodling SH. How ever it was hidden, its hidden real creative.
But one thing to always remember is, its not going to be randomly hidden. You need to look for things that could be easly dictated in a clue. Something has to be pointed out to how to identify the hiding spot.
I think it was really just a reference to Phalen Creek and nothing more... either way, nothing more that's going to be extremely beneficial in figuring out where in the park to look.

The German doll thing is still a bit of a mystery. There's always one clue that doesn't make sense. That must be the one.
I need to work tomorrow. I'm heading for the sheets.
I didn't get lost in google tonight. That's a relief.
Goodnight and SCDs! Get out there and get it before some high-heeled doll finds it tomorrow during lunch.
Street references that's it ... no need to go off on a dozen tangents overnoodling this thing.....

Gnight all!
just a lil more confirmation...
In looking up which shakespear, I came across an american composer also named Tedesco - who happened to write the theme for Bonanza and the Godfather.
Is there an old concert all near?
