Awsome link! Thanks for finding and posting that!!! I'm saving for later...
The second time was in 2008. Most of the early clues seemed to describe any place except Mounds Park but Clue 10 made the general location obvious. Clue 11 was precise ....
describes this hunt if you ask me... :barf: :barf: :barf:
I am obsessed with all of those shows and movies. As a matter of fact, last night at Yarusso's they were showing each Godfather movie at the same time on three different televisions. I bicker with my wife all the time about how big of a joke it was when Dances with Wolves beat out Goodfellas for best picture in 1990. I don't know how to connect any of Tony Sopranos Gumars(sp?) to the clues though.
Today is my wife's birthday . I am taking her to lunch at 12:45 at yarusso's. If you see us please say happy birthday Mary. She gets a raw deal as Her birthday is always during the hunt.
Went to a non-swede hollow park again last night, on the encouragement of my team ... but after noodling this clue, and seeing what you've all got, I am jumping onto the Swede Hollow express....Wheeeee
Glad you are here, i have been digging in SH since clue 2 when I saw posen down there. At least I know I havent been digging in the wrong park. I did spend 2 days at Battle on clue 3 & 4 though.
Thanks, OT! And when I went to your link my old name and log in worked!
When I put St Paul Pioneer Press in Google, go to their homepage, click on Treasure Hunt, then Discuss the Clues, I get the NEW board. But your link brought me directly to the OLD board. Confusing!
Interesting tie-in about Virginia. I was thinking about Virginia Hill, Bugsy Siegel's girlfriend, who was a nightclub singer and of german ancestry. But couldn't find a virginia relating to SH.
(i'm only a couple days late...)
I think if I ever find it I oew you half... (bookmark this post)

The "old" board is part of the PP's forum pages. Lots of different forums there.
