I understand your concern, mikey. But I think there were four of us on last year who were at home. CM, Mystical, Eags and myself. You probably thought it was more.
I talked to RB. Thanks to him for setting this up. Here is the scoop:
The call is scheduled for 10:45. 50 lines are reserved.
I have a separate access code. Yours is 517-417-5000, 668627
You should automatically be on mute when you join the call. To toggle mute on and off use *6. I ask that you keep your phone on mute unless you are asking a question. Please hold all questions until I've read through the clue twice.
Do you guys have someone to post the clue here? I am not going to be in on the group call, but I do have a friend that will be at the paper and then calling me and my son. After we get the clue-- I can try to then relay that to my daughter and have her post it here through my account. Please let me know if you want that or not. Also, please understand that I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in spelling, etc., as this will be passed through two phone calls with the final one being in the hands of a teenage girl...
There were a lot of people when I was there too, but still a lot of compacted, untouched snow. my dumb ass parked at the top of the stairs and almost killed myself going down. Mr. Mikey was kind enough to walk me back up though, so I am still here :pbpt:
Few hundred when we were there a few hours ago. The thing that struck me most (besides the overabundance of what looked like vomit everywhere), was how many huge chunks of snow people had left all over the place that could very well have it within them... some piles I saw were filled with nothing but huge chunks of snow that hadn't been broken up.. wouldn't surprise me one bit if somebody has already dug this thing up and it's sitting within one of those.
I will be at the park and on the conference call tonight. Thank you again Leelabell! If the conference call leads me to the prize, I have no problem cuttin ya in on that
not going out tonight!!! I was in the Hosp. all dam day!!!
I Had to donate blood for my mom!! and still feel quezzy from that and brother is jumping all over me!! for some F@#ked up Reasons!!! go figer!!
I will be out in the Am tomorrow!! But that is if I feel WELL!!! and its still out there!!! I think it will be out there tell late tomorrow or mid day on 12!!!!
Yeah... but I think there might be more people down there tonight considering clue 11 last year. And considering that last year it was -12 with -25 windchill.
Can we tell, as we go along, how many are on the call?
If so, and if it gets to be close to 50, perhaps some at home can volunteer to hang up.
I am willing to be on it and type fast and post the clue.
I think we had several doing that last year, so between us, those seeing it online could get the gist of it while we waited for confirmation that we had it exactly right.
I think it is good to have more than one person typing it and posting it, in case someone's internet goes down at an inopportune time.
Boy did we blab last year Eags and OT. Will be out there tonight though. I'm the 143 and I know each of you two but don't know who the other long one was.
Looking at past clues beginning in 2000, with the exception of 2002 and of course 2008, all of the Clue 11 clues have been the standard four lines. And last year was most likely really Clue 12. I'm not expecting anything earth shattering in the way of pointing out the exact location tonight.
We were digging in the flat open area near the stone henge thing and what struck me was the fact that while the area was all dug up. IT WAS POORLY DUG UP. Huge boulder and bowling ball size clumps of snow that nobody bothered to break up, small patches of virgin snow, most of it is only dug up on the surface and they didn't dig all the way down to the grass. THERE IS STILL PLENTY OF POTENTIAL HERE.
Anyway for any of the casual diggers or people with physical limitations, you could have a good chance by going and and just busting clumps.
Yeah that would be reasonable..... I just know of 3 people going down 2-night that didn't go last year. But if only 3-4 people are at home monitoring that's cool too.
So what are people's plans tonight? Obviously the confrence call, but are people just going straight to the park or meeting up at Bulldogs or Kelly's till closer to 11 and then heading over to Swede?
I'm planning on being on my "X" or thereabouts at Zero hour - do you think we'd have to get down to the park before 10:00 for decent parking? I was surprised how many people left after the sun went down.
Gonna be a whole BUTTLOAD of them! :goofy:

Just so the brain don't hurt
 :sheepish:
I mean, what if I toggle something wrong and the whole conference shuts down and the Med is lost!
I may go for it or wait for posting on here...
Time for a nap?
What am I doing wrong?
P.S. everyone I found Tinkerbell and she's spreading fairy dust on us tonight.

Last year it worked out well that OT listened in and did a play by play and posted what was happening. I enjoyed reading the excitement.
Basically we don't want 20 people at home listening when there are people at the park who can't access the line cuz it's full. my 2 cents.
