Weren't cell phones rather large back then?

Amazing the technology and how quickly one thing becomes obsolete these days.

that was part of the point. back then i was way on the cutting edge of it. now that edge is so far past, you can leave your laptop at home if you have one and go off of your cell phone.

in 97 they weren't too bad for size. not as small as they are today, but not a brick either.
Tue, 01/27/2009 - 8:34 PM Permalink
GreenTeam

Yes, bigger than they are now. People would laugh at them today, though.

Ares: a lot of Logic is in computer-speak.

I am taking full time online classes and that has been a challenge, but I really like it now.

I was in NYC for Fall classes which was fun. I took some "live."

I'm thinking this is the clue formatted and how I put it in the clue thread. Let me know if any of you find out anything is not quite right.

I double-checked the punctuation too - I feel confident I got it now - I did go back and do a couple of edits, so I will repost it now with the punctuation.

Ideas about where there are weeds and large trees? Are they pointing to near the spring, that round thing at the north end?

mystical_muzik

come on in Terry!
Tue, 01/27/2009 - 9:05 PM Permalink

There's a comma after tree in the first line, Terry. And Eureka isn't in quotes, but has an exclamation point after it.

Edit: Exclamation, not explanation. lol

About 100 feet down the trail from the Swede Cache is an actual spring.

It's gonna get muddy!

Green: its a geo-cache thing where people hide a "cache" for other people to find. Year-round. When it is found, they usually sign their names and put it back. or there may be some trinkets in it. Gotten popular in recent years. Now even state parks do geo-caches for tourists, etc.

You know it makes you think how long its been out there. I remember in an interview I seen at PioneerPlanet that they would hide it like weeks before the first clue. Where ever it is, its prolly burried perty good.

There is an area where liquid water was crossing the path and there was a waterfall of sorts in the stream where you could hear the stream gurgling. Looking at a map, it's right where North St. crosses the park. I would guess that's the place, but I can't tell from the map if there's any particularly big tree there.

Thanks! I guess a better question would have been where is the Swede Cache, LOL!

an estate in land held in feudal law from a lord on condition of homage and service (2): a piece of land so held b: an inherited or heritable estate in land.

Another meaning for Fee (online dictionary); it must be by a big house of long ago, or a clue for Swede.
