Green: its a geo-cache thing where people hide a "cache" for other people to find. Year-round. When it is found, they usually sign their names and put it back. or there may be some trinkets in it. Gotten popular in recent years. Now even state parks do geo-caches for tourists, etc.
You know it makes you think how long its been out there. I remember in an interview I seen at PioneerPlanet that they would hide it like weeks before the first clue. Where ever it is, its prolly burried perty good.
There is an area where liquid water was crossing the path and there was a waterfall of sorts in the stream where you could hear the stream gurgling. Looking at a map, it's right where North St. crosses the park. I would guess that's the place, but I can't tell from the map if there's any particularly big tree there.
