The area behind the water park at BC is very steep it goes up about a hundred feet in elevation before the ball fields at afton. would be a very hard area to search.

Yeah, that's part of the problem I think is happening. The press most likely assigned people to hide these pirate medallions, and they just went out and tossed most of them around. That's why when you hear about people finding them, they've normally found a handful or so.

I'll hope for some still sitting around in some parks once some of the snow has melted off, otherwise, I'll just drag a rake out and see what I can come up with.

I want to feel BC, but I am not.

I think Highland was the obvious one to get us running, but I really feel like BC is just to get us running....again. Sun Ray seems a bit obvious, but who knows. Next, the clue will have us go to Como.... or the like.

Well, 1952 was Highland Park, the first year; the Minnesota History Center has that great 1968 exhibit, and in 1968 it was Highland.

Ken (Ken Sean Carson) is a Mattel toy doll introduced by Mattel in 1961 as the fictional boyfriend of toy doll Barbie.

In 1961 it was found in Highland. "Ken" is in Clue 1

that is exactly what I was just going to post.

Train tracks are technically near BC Park period.

It can be a clue to get you to BC - not necessarily meaning to take you to the correct side of the park.

If you really get rice out of that in an anagram....there is rice creek road in Long Lake Regional in New Brighton

Clue 5 (sun clue) had me thining about the West Side neighborhood of St Paul known as District del Sol (sun). I kept flashing to the image of the sunon the bridge over Robert St.

There is also this sun image I found at Castillo Park in the same neighborhood. Way too small to be here but I found it interesting anyway.

chattin = Chatsworth (runs into Lake Como)

trackin = train tracks just south of Como or street car rails

I'm not totally convinced, but right now, I think that clue 6, is just saying - to look near a light pole. I think they are afraid that with the little snow, that the hunt will end early, and are doleing out information in smaller bits.

I am still in the mind set that it's in a park, where two roads/paths etc come to an X - there is a light pole near there, and you are supposed to look at the base of it.

Vino, I have that in my reference material. For only a few pages, it does a nice job of giving the history.

The Humane Society is up just west from MacMurray Fields which would fit for the bark. Of course seals also bark.

Depending on how one interprets these clues, any number of parks fit. I'm not sold on any yet..but a couple are feeling like stronger contenders than others.
