2012 Clues 

So its back to the drawing board for next year 
to find a spot so deep and drear. 
Harder to reach all you whiners 
than those buried Chilean miners. 

Next year's clues will inspire dread 
requiring knowledge of languages dead, 
Higher math rocket science 
disbanding every hunters alliance. 

I take your leave. I bid adieu. 
I go in search of the perfect clue. 
Prepare to hike hard dig deep and delve.

I can't seem to get a screenshot of the exact time you can see the face on the side of the curtain. Not that it matters if the curtain wasn't even there. Just a task I can't complete.

Good Morning!

The scrambled clue wasn't very scrambled. Nothing like I thought it would be.

The song with the clue made be think 61. Battle Creek, Mounds, Phalen, Keller.

Nothing to get too excited about yet.

The PiPress thing may be something, but it's been used by MN Post in the past as their shorthand similar to the way we use PP for the Pioneer Press.

The staying off golf courses is standard and wouldn't necessarily mean the park has a golf course or that it doesn't.

Ready for Clue #2.

Could we start a thread for just the clues and move this discussion into a folder so it sits of the top of the hunt folder? It would make this easier to find quickly.

Oh - and the one person at the PP that we know is on "vacation" is Ruben Rosario. He will be having a stem cell transplant as he continues his battle with cancer.

not anywhere in st. paul. north only goes as far as 1670, south to about 1800, west to 2600 and east to 2300. the only place you could get numbers that high in ramsey county are north across the distance of county rd d.

Was thinking the same thing.

Even though it's bad luck to put a hoe in the ground before the PDG I still can say I hunted even if I don't make it to a park before one of you two decide to turn it over again :smile:

plus putting a ho in the ground can lead to jail time.... :coolfrown:

I asked a pr manager at the Science Museum last night about placement and she said that the PP was told not to 'hide' them until Sunday.

Personally I see them putting them in plain sight in Rice park each day of the hunt to get the most exposure.

I think it's outside of St. Paul for several reasons, 1. the Realm would encompass Ramsey County IMO and 2. They say EXPLORE which says to me we need to look at a completely new park....

Hmm.. well just for kicks, I might go look around battle creek later today, as it's close by anyway... maybe beaver lake too. Perhaps a few slipped out of the pipress' camera crew pockets when they were filming out there, lol.

Looks like we've beaten this clue to death :sillygrin: The only other thing I've got is that maybe "leave no mark" indicates a park with tennis courts, as many of them have a sign that says "non-marking shoes only".

I know it took 3M a lot of time to compile all the noodles from both the PP and AM boards. But if someone else wants to recap the noodles I can create a discussion for that where they only have access to post.
