Go Maggie-Go Maggie!
WoW Artemis, your cat looks like our cat-except ours has white paws and some white on the nose-otherwise they could be related-uuuuh, that means you and I could be related! Do I get the family discount on truckart or plants? ;)
Its the Marley family plan Mon!
its actually Marleys brothers cat
distant cousins ;)
Ever since the "Incident", they won't let me own pets.
still living in that fantasy world where you actually "own" pets, eh, thx?
It's not a fantasy world.
I let my boys know everyday who feeds em, who gives them shelter, who changes their litter.... and most importantly, who doesn't kill them when they drive me crazy.
Like when David decides to bite at my face at 4:00 in the morning.
ok so you've accepted the fact that you don't really own the cats, they own you. you just haven't completelyaccepted it. :)
WoW-reality check!
That sounds like MY LIFE!
no, in order for it to be your life, you have to replace cats with kids :)
your kitty look anything like this me2?
yeah he does. in fact, that's a lot like the look he gave me the last time he hissed at me.
he doesn't like to have his picture taken. :)
Small World! I think we all may be related!
I will post a picture soon -then we can put them all side by side and compare :)
Must be a popular cat!
I like your new avatar me2. We're going to Disney's Princesses On Ice this Friday, are you?
And just to clear the field, I'm also going to Metallica in June. ;-)
Disney's Princesses On Ice this Friday....Metallica in June
You're sucha well rounded guy!
I have suite tickets for this Friday's match between Simley and Rochester (GO IGH!!) and also tickets to Grease at the Orpheum in April. It goes in streaks but it's nice all the same. I used to go to tons of metal concerts all the time and they didn't hold many memories any longer. That was until I went to Toy Story On Ice. I think I enjoyed it more than the kid. It's fun now that I can afford it again, but that will be short lived until I find a decent job.

I went to a PTA meeting hungover from a Henry Rolllins show the night before (kissed him too!).
and had a hard time choosing an outfit 'cause I was going to see Tool immediately following the kid's school play.
my life is difficult. but fun, and never dull.
Bob, is that you?
Both Rollins and Tool rock! His spoken word is way funny. Tools first show here for their last tour was awesome. Remember the spinning upside down naked people? WOW!! They didn't have much of a show the second time around though.
OOOps, off subject.....Pussies I guess
yes! how did they do that so long? my brains would be seeping out my ears.
penguins.

my youngest just went last night with daddy. I got the tickets through Ticketmaster- only $11.50 a ticket -section 109 row K on the aisle- they had a blast- the whole 2nd half is Cinderella. She got a program, cotton candy, popcorn, and snowcone in princess mug. All together $33 for tickets (ticketmaster charges) + another $50 for stuff and parking $3!
JenB is the World's Coolest Mom, no contest.
She's wicked smart and compassionate, too.
I feel like I'm a better person just for posting with her.
ohhh, maggie! that is so sweet and I really needed it today.
so now I turn it right back around on you, you smart, funny, creative, wonderful kittymom and aunt! you are one of the main reasons I post here at all.

Seconded!

Hey you, go back to bed. ;-)
alone?
Hey you, go back to bed. ;-)
make me.
OK, OK, you can take the frog with you.
again, i say, make me.
I'm chiming in with a late vote for cats. Cats are front runners. They don't need us (or they pretend not to), and that's why I like and respect them. And if you meet them halfway, they'll reciprocate.
Dogs are too emotionally needy. Make no mistake, I like them just fine. But they're like a neurotic and slightly eccentric friend. Fun to be around for awhile, but you want to keep your distance.
One more for cats!
I vote for the Gecko. They don't shed, no hairballs, they don't whine, and they know how to sell insurance in a language you can understand. :-D
LOL Dragonlady!
Geckos are cool, I have to admit. Especially the ones that can climb up walls.
HI! Haven't been around for a while. Been monitoring cat fights. That seems to be getting better now though. They are both running free (make that wild) and staking out territory. Sasha has morphed into "Tash" and she accepts that. Tigger has lost control of the window perch, and Ms. Tash is the queen. I think he had forgotten that he is neutered as well....he chases her a lot, and gets smacked for his trouble.
They do occasional nose touches without any hostilities and watch the squirrels and mice together on the window sill. They are also sharing food and water dishes and litter boxes, although there is 2 of each.
I won an auction on ebay for a 68" cat tree with a condo and 2 cradles, which is enroute from south FL. I'll be back to report on how they work that one out.
A SIX-year-old girl became the first female to receive the RSPCA's humane award for saving her kitten from a predatory python.
Marlie Coleman did not think twice about taking on the scrub python when it wrapped its jaws around her kitten Sooty in their Cairns backyard earlier this year.
The sharp-toothed python let go of the kitten, but attached itself to Marlie's lip, hanging on until her mother heard the screams and shook it off.
Her mother, Shakira, remembers seeing Marlie standing on the barbecue with a snake attached to her face, bleeding and sobbing "Snake trying to eat Sooty".
RSPCA Queensland chief executive officer Mark Townend said Marlie's only concern on her way to hospital after the attack was for the kitten.
Brave Girl Saves Cat
One more absentee vote for cats
I think a vote needs to be cast for snakes, just to balance that last cat vote.
I think a vote needs to be cast for snakes, just to balance that last cat vote.
Good idea.
One for Snakes!
yeah but that means you also have to take away wily's one vote for dogs, too. otherwise i'll be forced to cast a second vote for cats and demand that it be counted.
