Having my doctor say I need an operation on my shoulder, and the specialist say I'm too old to have it done. At least he refered to someone else that may do it.
haha! nope, his name wasn't jason thank god! I probably would have jumped out of the chair and headed for home if it was! 2 hrs in that chair is waaaaay too long, ugh! can't wait to be able to feel the left side of my face though.
I've paid my bills, shredded my junk mail, surfed the net, watched my ghost cams, read the celebrity gossip, the info about the earthquake in Hawaii... did some yoga and drank 2 pots of coffee (which didn't do a darn thing - wonder if I accidently got decaf)
Irritation: Owners of PT Cruisers. I swear to gawd that once you buy one of those things you turn vapid.
You want a car you can decorate with a theme of cow spots, or flames, or a rootbeer barrel ?... fine. You want personalized plates? fine.
But the moment you start driving down the 101 doing not even 60 in the FAST lane... expect to see me doing the speed limit, passing your a$$ in the slow lane and honking and flipping you off. Just be glad everything in my car is of too much value to throw at your windshield.
The fast lane of the 101 is NOT a PT Crusier approved parade route. There is a by-way on both sides of the 101, piss off the drivers there with your little cruise fest.
My grandfather passing away. Now before you guys say anything... let me just say - He and I have n't had the best RS in the past 15 years, infact about 10 years ago I sued the pants off of him for fiduciary abuse of my grandmothers estate and won conservatorship of her. At the time she was in advance alzeheimers and he was trying to have them continue to keep her alive via all sorts of horrible treaments as well.
Needless to say - him yelling at me in a courtroom that he hoped I rotted in hell, was sort of the last straw.
So... here is the deal - he doesn't really have any family down here. His daughter in WA hasn't talked to him in well over the time I've been alive. Etc.
Guess who has been asked to plan the funeral...
and I'm going to do it, out of respect for my grandmother cause it would have been the right thing to do.
thanks guys. I just got off the phone with my mother. She seemed oddly joyed by the whole thing. She is even contemplating attending the funeral (??)
I have to go meet the funeral directors tomorrow at 10 for a few minutes and to look at this magnetic board they have for photos. Going to do a collage.
Yeah, I do. I have one that has some modifications to it so the headroom isn't too bad. Truth be told, it's much like riding in a minivan in terms of how it rides, which is probably why Vino thinks people drive it slowly. The different model years have different interiors - they really don't look substantively different but sometimes they're really really tight.
thanks everyone. Everything is getting wierder and wierder. I spent all of yesterday first with the funeral director, then at the cemetary finalizing his crypt... then a fight with is attorney over $482.06 (the cost difference between what he paid 10 years ago and what certain things which are 'guarenteed' at the original price i.e. pastor, tax etc + the additional travel surcharge to pick him up outside their usual area) that cheap $*$(%$&& gets paid out most of what is left of his estate, so he's trying to pinch pennies.
also, although I didn't get along with him as an adult - I have many fond memories of him as a child (he was the only grandpa I ever knew) so I've decided since I hate how Pastors who don't know the deceased never seem to address who they really were. I'm going to get up and talk about all the happy memories of my childhood with my grandpa.
I have YAW350, YAW796, YC3079, YBRL97, YFRVRM the list goes on and on.

Centrals homecoming is tonight!
I got super yum carmel infused beans and I followed the instructions on the pack and everything.. and it um, tastes kinda funny.
maybe this is why I never used to be a coffee drinker - I can't make it to save my life.
and before any of you ask.. YES, I did remember to put a filter in the coffee maker... you only make THAT mistake once.

having to call and tell my mother that my grandfather has died.
I'm so not sure I want to have this convo.
I'm glad I won't get alzeheimers. I knew about the cure even before the scientists did.
