Getting nothing done at work today

trying to find a pink, monthly refillable calendar - without the weekly part. I don't like that part. I just want a pocket planner with months.

I have a menu of reports. Of course when you select any of the menu items none of them work, cause the programer never actually WROTE the reports. Its just a menu of ideas that never materialized.

So I have all this info in this suckware, and no way to get it out once it's posted. :angry:

Still being stuck at work working my ass off because some lady decides to invite the new owners of a 3 floor suite over for a look a week ahead of time and expects all of the trades to be done now because of her fuckup. It's 1 in the morning and most of the 75 or so people up there have already put over 16 hours. I'll be over that before I leave as well. Damn! :angry:

I know what that's like CM, all too well.

That suxs CM. I was at work yesterday from 8 in the morning until 8:30 last night.. and I thought THAT sucked.

overly sensitive people. One of my cult girls emailed me today saying she was worried about our Crab Feed (tix are printed yet, flyers aren't printed yet etc) 1st I emailed the graphic designer and said what's up, and GD said that she didn't have all the necessary info from cult girl to do the layouts.

So I went back to cult girl and said - well GD needs x,x and x - so as soon as you give her that, then she can print it. And told her to relax, GD is a professional, and will get it done in a timely manner etc.

problem solved (in my world)

now I get an email from cult girl, saying she didn't appreciate me being glib about this, and that she wants to call a meeting of the chairs to discuss our progress etc.

I can't win. I solve her problem, and apparently it's not good enough.

shoulda just told her to call GD herself and not even get in the middle of it. bummer - gl

if she called a meeting, and it happened today, I just may have gone off on her sorry ass (don't mess with me today) -but, on the other hand if there is someway to make her look stupid in front of the boss GO FOR IT! and afterwards just glance over at her and smirk mmmmwahahahaha

Well, that now is the least of my worries. I don't really give a care what she thinks. But two of my other girls, made one of my Best Friends Cry in the board meeting I wasn't able to attend.

They were really unprofessional (it as over a budget issue that she was asking for an increase in)

Now I've just spent the morning, contacting other clubs, to find out what their allotment for this specific thing is (typically about $500 - to ours which is $100) so next month, I'm going BACK to the board, with her, and I'm not going to back down until we have an increase for the project, and these two girls who were so mean to me, neither one of the are going to stand up to me, and I know that.

This is actually a battle of Egos - on of the mean ones (who happens to be president) was out of line early in the meeting and the friend brought her to a point of order (as she should have) which flustered her, it just went down from there. I'm not intimidated by either of them, and have on more than one occastion told both of them to get off their high horses and go *F* themselves infront of large groups of people (professional? no, effective? yes)

I want them to all just play nice. is that too much to ask? really.

Irritates: &*%^#ing project managers who expect everyone to be done with their part of the project when the ones before you aren't even done with their part. And you can't do anything until they are done first. Then it falls on you because you are the one at the end of the project. Kinda like when we used to blame the person who had the last swallow of milk for drinking all the milk when there were guzzlers sucking it all before hand.

Well kinda like that. You get the idea. ARGGGGHH!! High stress day today that's for sure.

I hate that smell!! we threw away 2 tupperware dishes of it yesterday and everytime I went to throw something away I almost threw up, I made him take out the garbage after the third time, YUCK!!
