If I find out who spiked my O'Douls last night I will slide tackle them! Dear God! That being said. . . Yarussos tonight? Had so much fun last night. So glad the hunt is here. Let me know what the plan is for tonight, I don't work tomorrow so it would be cool to hang if people are up for it.

Ah well, found out Hubby had to work tonight anyway. Us southerners should really carpool more this hunt tho. I usually ride with Jerilyn a lot. She will tell ya I am good for gas money :wink:

I made lasagna and stuffed shells the other day that had to get eaten today and tomorrow so I'm full from Italian. Was at Obb's all afternoon too. I'm tired and hope I can stay awake at cluetime.

After mostly reading and studying today and planning more of the same tomorrow, I plan on having some time tomorrow evening to head to Yarusso's for some dinner and conversation. Hope someone else will be there.

I'm totally in support of everything we do normally but I wasn't feeling well and since today I ended up sleeping from 8:30AM to 9:30pm straight through I'm thinking it's a good idea I didn't go out last night to get everyone sick. I am miserable at work tonight hoping this goes away quickly because my vacation time starts on Thursday morning 7:00am and I want to be at full capacity.

Yep she is. I can car pool later in the week with you if you want.

Hello to all! I've been in and out, to-ing and fro-ing....

Sorry to have missed seeing you all on Saturday :frown:. In years past, my crazy work schedule had me getting up at 4:00 am, which made it difficult at best to stay up for clue time - much less get out to go to the paper.

This year, I am facing new challenges. My 80 year old mom has had a myriad of medical issues over the past year (which I won't go into here and now - different board, different time), and we have recently brought her home to HER house and are staying with her 24/7 at *least* until some of the medical things can be taken care of. So, not likely that I'll get out a *whole* lot this year, except for when Dad will volunteer to stay back and keep mom company.

But I will try to post ideas as they come to me -- if they're new. Most days I don't get a lot of computer time until late at night or the early afternoon, if she decides to rest for a bit (like now). By the time I get through slogging, there usually isn't much to say :smile:.

Mom, good to see you! Hope things are going OK. I think of you often, and know how difficult it is to do what you are doing! Blessings to you for opening your heart to this.

Marley and I have been there done that with the parental medical issues, its not always easy, but so much better than the alternatives.

i've got the group picture up on coolercrew.com (you'll have to forgive how the pre-dig recap looks. i'm still writing it). and i'll have a few more posted when i finish the write-up from what i took. mad dog posted a link to the "are you the cluewriter" pictures he took the other night.

<--- can sympathize. sue's stepdad went in for some dental work yesterday and to do it, they had to turn down his blood thinners. all went well there. we weren't out last night just in case. he had an appointment this morning with his icd this afternoon, and his rhythm is off a bit; they're assuming its because of turning his blood thinners down for the dental work, so we're not gonna be out tonight just in case. keeps us closer to him.

so for anyone out there waiting for me to get their coolercrew buttons (mikey passed the bucket to me on sunday night, mom so i've got the bucket and the cash that you didn't already get), i've still got a bunch, and we'll be around probably tomorrow night and every night after that.

It's so comforting to find others that have been in my shoes. I've found a couple of support/chat boards online and that has helped in some small way to help deal with all the "what ifs" that we are facing.

It would be nice to compare notes sometime -- I am my mom's last (close) relative. In some ways, that's a blessing -- to not have to have disagreements with siblings, etc on the correct path. But in other ways, it's very difficult, because the load is on me and me alone -- thank goodness for Dad and the girls and Dad's family.

My mom has a couple of physical issues, but the biggie is her memory loss.

In the past there has been a lot posted but it looks like there wasn't too many psted this year. I left my camera at home this year and Clue Master (who used to post a lot) was busy with the park pool and looks like he didn't take too many. Hopefully some people will post some soon. They are always fun to look at.
