So I was gone and missed out on this age of believing subject. When my son Tom, now 19, asked the eluded question this was our conversation.
Is there really such a person?
What do you think?
I'm not sure, that's why I am asking?
Well why are you asking?
My friend Dan said there is no such thing, it's just your parents?
Well I can't speak for Dan or his family but I can tell you what I believe. A long time ago there was a very special person who was very loving and giving, making sure that children all over the world had a good christmas. And I don't know if he is still alive or not, but the spirit of christmas and giving to others is still very much alive and as long as you believe in the spirit of Christmas, Santa will also be real in our hearts.
After that he never again questioned where gifts came from. And even though he is now 19, he still gets excited about christmas morning. stockings and the special gift. He even told the story of christmas spirit this year to my 9 year old who was on the verge of doubt. He said as long as you always believe it doesn't matter where gifts come from.
I love the Leprechaun thread header photo! I decided to use some creative license and provide my interpretation of what the header should look like tomorrow... see what you think.
You think I talk alot? We have some real girly girls in here - proof you want? just look at kitch and cluemasters post #s...or their dance moves :goofy: ... I'm a quiet bug.
I think probably about 2 doz times but I always eventually bring my green m&m back...she's due.
happy late birthday cm and nick. tc would get on to post but she cant stop jumping up and down on the bed saying "he's older than i am, he's older than i am"
Happy Birthday CM!.... oh.... I feel like singing..... Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you.... You are older than I am... Happy Birthday to you   :goofy:
I looked at your pictures and didn't throw up. Nice pictures. So you showed her your picture with your giant fork and she still agreed to meet? She's a keeper!
I meant to send her a picture of me in a suit and tie, but accidentially sent her that one instead. I didn't find that out until after she agreed to marry me.
About 5 mins. later they asked me to exit the premises. That place is so wierd, it's like a green black hole. You can't see in, anywhere. I couldn't tell where the fencing was either.
There's a St. Paul, Indiana too. I was driving to my niece's wedding in Cincinnati some years ago, and as I was getting close to Cincinnati I kept seeing signs for St. Paul. Felt like I was driving in circles.
Hey, it snowed in your honor!

Phat Pearl is playing at the Blue Fox Saturday the 29th
(they are off this weekend)
A - Going to the Dugout in Mahtomedi to hear Rubber Soul (they are a look a like Beatles cover band).
B - Going to the Blue Fox to hear the Dweebs.
C - Finding someone to go see a movie with.
Any takers on any of the above options??
Myself and the Mrs are going to Blue Man Group Sat at the Xcel.
Is 'Horton Hears a Who' entertaining enough a movie for adults, or do you need someone younger than eight to get in?
I'll let you know. We have it on DVD already
I'm ok with that, I still like him anyway
but most spouses are like eachother besides looks
it helps make them the cute couple they are - sometimes they make me want to puke
 :barf: :goofy:
