Brake lights are overrated.

Frosti does it again.

I ran low on the brake light fluid and is the main reason I got hosed.

That'll do it.  It usually happens to women though.  Let this be a reminder ladies. Check that blinker light fluid. Or at least ask the guy who changes your oil to do it.  It doesn't cost anything and could save you hundreds.

And that is a great tag line Frosti

It was the same way with my grandma and both of my grandpa's. I lost both of my grandpas w/i 4 months of each other. My dad's dad died in Oct of 2002 from cancer, and my mom's dad died in Jan of 2003, exactly 6 months 2 the day of my wedding. That was really hard because he was supposed 2 walk me down the isle. Instead, his brother did it. Then just this past May almost a year and a half later we lost my mom's mom. The day she died she was set 2 get out of the nursing home and go live w/my mom and her fiance in their new house which was my grandma's dream home. My mom had spoke 2 her the morning that she died and said that she was going 2 pick my grandma up at noon, they'd go out for lunch and coffee and then go home. We got the call that day at 11:30 am that she had passed away. At about 11am she had been out front signing her release papers and telling everyone how excited she was about living in her new home, about 20 minutes later the nurse came back 2 her room 2 give her the last of her meds and found her dead on the floor. We don't know if she had a heart attack or if she had fallen and hit herself, but we're just going to go with that her heart gave out because she's at peace now. It's just totally ironic that she died a half hour before she was 2 go home. It's really hard 2 watch people as it gets closer 2 their time. We knew that the time was coming but you can never totally prepare yourself for death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family esd, because it's especially hard when the holidays come. If you need anything, just let me know. *hugz*

check out the digital equipment in your toggle dimmer, and if that fails- put winter air in your tires.

Frosti- can't you just put red tape on your rear lights to simulate braking?

Two weeks ago I noticed a bald eagle and it's nest right by Hwy 36 on the north shore of Keller it seemed to be in this same tree every time I drove by.
So on Thanksgiving morning I decided to get close and take some photos.
After 45 minutes of struggling through the thick under brush and fallen trees, not to mention the wet land areas. I finally get to the tree and it's not there.
So I waited around for about an hour and the eagle is a no show. I had to get ready for dinner so I started back. Then on the way to the in-laws I decided to swing by the tree on 36 and there he was sitting in the tree=C.

I am thinking he is there around noonish so I might try again on Sunday.

Digger (and Jr. Digger)
At least she's fuzzy and warm....
At some point she may lose all her hair, and become a blonde!
Then she will- (while clad in a bathrobe and slippers, armed with nothing but a spork) - FIND THE MEDALLION buried in the backyard of her school.
...and she will be quoted as such
" I had some spare time after eating my luncheon pancakes and was trying to find a scat for my science class- when 'THERE IT WAS' The elusive lucite my parents spoke about...."
And there will be heralding- and a bonfire- and pot-luck food for all.

Beautiful Baby ESD and DD!

Happy dance for Terry who will have the merriest of christmas's!  :)

Our short catch up- Bar closed May 23, new owners re-opened Sept 10, house we were living in burned down Oct 10, bought our first home of our own Nov 15. Its a great house, old farm house with lots of big windows and hardwood floors throughout and huge "hideout" closets (you know-the kind you could hideout in as a kid). Its on 12.5 Ac with a cool red shed and big white garage that used to be the original post office, and a rope swing, and lots of deer in the yard. Its right outside of Isle and much closer to work, I love it.

Thats what we get for making 3 turkeys....for 15.

Dinner with my family is always enough to feed cox's army.

COXEY'S ARMY - "The Panic of 1893 (1893-97) was the worst depression the U.S. had ever known up to that time, with widespread unemployment and industrial unrest. Several 'armies' of the unemployed marched to Washington to demand relief. Today the best known of these is Coxey's Army, 500 people who in 1894 marched from Ohio to the Capitol under quarry owner Jacob Coxey (1854-1951). He favored federally funded community public works and building programs as a solution to the panic. A large crowd gathered in Washington; but before Coxey could address it he was arrested for 'walking on the grass' (after the march Coxey ran for various public offices, including the presidency, but only became the mayor of Massillon, Ohio, 1931-33)."
