I was just looking at the pictures on the NAHF website from the hunt. I was looking at the pictures of last year's winners. If you find the Medallion, I wonder if they really make you wear those sweatshirts? If so, I don't think I want to win. I'll hold out for an "I found the Medallion" tie.
winter survival gear. when was wearing it a requirement for treasure hunting? i mean during the mock hunt, i was out freezing my arse off in the cold, wind, and snow, jacket unzipped and no hat.
Goodmorning :) - Yeeaaah-first weekend Kids are out of school! :)-one went to the lake the other is at a sleepover. Unfortunatly now I am headed to a funeral and then a graduation party.
I almost think of you as 'one of my own' now. Everytime I talk about or type or write 'kids' I think of you included :) - but your still not in my will!
haha. let's see, you were what, 6, when kids and i were born? so i'll settle for being the kid brother, but not one of your kids :)
i think i'm gonna have to start hauling my butt out of bed earlier on saturday mornings. 'tis amazing the conversations i miss by sleeping :) i'm not sure i wanna know what "duct taping project" you're doing, me2.
My dad took me and my sister out looking for the Winter Carnival medallion back in 1984? at Newell Park. He could not actually win if he found it cause he worked for Ma Press, but he started a very memorable tradition of the 'hunt'. He taught us about competition, even if we could not win the prize we learned about configuring and puzzle solving. someday I will find it:)
I remember when, I was only 15, he camped outside with me at the Met Center in Bloomington all weekend! Just so I could get front row seats for Neil Diamond. (he did not like Neil, but he did it for me).
You will always be in my thoughts dad - I sooo love & miss you -thanks
For all of you who still have your dad's - let them know you appreciate and love them-the last thing my dad ever said to me was 'I love you'- sounding like it was his last breath-I didn't know that would be the last time I would see him coherent---You really never know and you think you have all the time BUT really...you don't.
that's so sweet what your dad did for the neil tickets. and so true about how much time you have. my grandfather was here, quite healthy, one nite, and gone the next morning.
Hello everyone- Thought I should clear something up...... the baby picture on Ians posts IS NOT Bridget Tooley, I repeat, NOT Bridget Tooley. If you would like a picture of BRIDGET TOOLEY email Trent and Jackie and I am sure they would be more than happy to send you one. Again, that baby picture on Ian's post IS NOT BRIDGET TOOLEY!!!

And do you have to be in the parade? I wouldn't want to be up on that float.

i like the cheap labor concept myself. congratulations to jackie and trent.
(But I still love Texas now)
not a tag, but probably should be. if only for the excellent use of grammar that only a texan can accomplish. :)
