That is true Kitch... because really I couldn't remember most of what I said.....Most of the "bad" things in there were rants and venting.....

you're welcome. yet at the same time, i see a whole lot of irony and maybe a little bit of hypocricy around here about this. i was asked to remove the 120 or so posts i saved from public view. i did. yet the other night, thx found it perfectly acceptable to take a post that had been deleted after he'd read it and repost it. and on top of that, it was perfectly acceptable to take a private instant messenger conversation, post it out of the context of that conversation, in an order which made tc look really bad, and email it to others on top of that. now, i'm not gonna ask anyone to remove anything they posted. its a kinda ridiculous concept since its been out there for a couple of months, and most everyone has read it. but i want to know one thing from people. why is it ok for for you to post private conversations, yet i'm not? that street runs both ways, folks.

now. just to clarify things, anyone who posts anything related to "unauthorized use" needs to have a look at the copyright code of the united states, especially the part about ownership. that "all rights reserved. unauthorized blah blah blah" applies to those private discussions as well.

We are all here trying to work things out. Why not bring your issues to the table. We would be more then willing to discuss them openly. Which we have stated on several occassions....on this board and in the private one too.

and thx was asked, as moderator of the thread, to remove the conversation as well. that said, i don't want to get into a pissing contest here. i just went to the can so my bladder is empty and i'd have a hard time hitting the back side of a urinal right now.

the only misunderstanding i recall was the thing about the tiaras. and as i recall from the conversation you had with sue, that misunderstanding was resolved. i ended up dragging that out after the fact until sue told me it wasn't an issue. and at that point i stopped that. so if there are any more misunderstandings beyond that, please tell.

The day that whole issue happened.... for me was a LONG one...

I got off work that morning as normal and came home. I was about to get in bed when I started talking with you (Ares). At that time I was sleeping mornings and waking up at about 2 in the afternoon.

We had been working on trying to settle things between us prior to this day....

So I aimed you ( Ares) and started having a convo with you..... On a personal level... I started it with good intentions....It was in fact to discuss this email I speak about.

While you and I were talking the shit hit the fan on PF........

 i remember that day. dont remember exactly what happend here, but i remember the im conversation. (and for those who are wondering about the email in question. the writer of said email knows who he is, and that's the way i intend to keep it).

To the IM conversation..... I'm sorry if my sharing it hurt her feelings. I think it should be known that at no time was anything done to hurt anyone. At the time it was shared it was to let people know that I did infact try to resolve things.

I would have never spent the time explaining things over and over again if I didn't care....

When this shit went down it was well past my bed time. So you can imagine my level of tolerence was already thinned.

just to explain where she was coming from on the im conversation, it wasn't so much that it got posted, as much as it was that it got posted out of the order it happened in, and it appeared to both of us that it was made to look like the tiara issue was blowing up after you guys had gotten it all straightened out.

That was not it's intention....I think I posted it because I had just spent my entire morning trying to work things out and I felt she was taking a swing at me out of anger.

I know she and you were upset because you felt like your hard work had been questioned. On more then one occasion.

I hadn't even been reading the boards that much that morning.....

To address the tiara thing....(as if it hasn't been covered enough) Yes it was worked out. I think everyone knows the deal with this.

Actually I don't remember the reason for the tiaras? why were they worn at re-hash? I heard later that it may have been a 'jab' but it didn't bother me in the least that I didn't get one- I was so busy with other things. But, I was a little jealous about the hat that Scribe got ;p (since she got the Campbells hat too ;))-it was no biggy in the least-it was all explained easily enough from someone that didn't need to give an explination cause it was their porogative to buy it anyhow-those don't look good on me anyhow -

NO the tiaras were not a jab. They were a joke that started with G, I wanted to say thank you to them for including me during the hunt and thought it would be cute. I was not making fun of anyone (other then ourselves). It was just a gesture to say thank you.

As for the hats, Dan and I found the embroidery shop 2 days before the rehash. We bought some for ourselves and got Scribe one to show the different colors. Again this was another thank you, she didnt even know about it. We wore them specifically for people to see so that if anyone wanted one I could have them made for next year. I posted this repeatedly, anyone that wants one let me know. I will make sure you have one for next year.

I know-you were the one who explained to me-I was just trying not to say the whole story- it was me giving Scribe fun crap because we are always trying to get STUFF during the hunt.

I think it was a good idea if you bring your hose ;)...but a bad idea for everyone to wear them as a groupthing.

When I bought them Kitch, I wasnt even thinking of the fireman stuff.

I think something that should be reliezed here.. and I'm just stating it for those who didn't notice. Steph wasn't around at many of the carnival things last year. Matter of fact, with the work schedules we hold and the boys keep our lives in motion we don't have alot of times to hang out and do much with friends.

Steph was having a great time during the hunt hanging out with people. She got to do something she hadn't been able to do in a long long time. (Anyone can speak up here)... but on many many occations I thanked people for showing her a good time. I thanked then for showing her around when I couldn't be there.....

She was having a great time... and basically from the pool of friends we have here she made some really GOOD friends.....

None of this was ever initialy ment to offend anyone.....

well, i guess we've both been around the block long enough to know that if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its most likely a duck. we're rather cynical like that. and in the end it probably wasn't justified by anything.

not really that it was questioned, as much as that the ball got dropped by other folks (and in advance, i'm not talking about shipping stuff out here). we'd been of the understanding that the zephy project was supposed to be shared between us. and when it came time to bring him places you guys weren't around. and i know we've had this conversation before, zeph was never ever about us getting credit for anything (if it were, you wouldn't have gotten the camera time with the tv :) and then i heard from someone that they weren't sure everyone agreed with what we did. reading things like that from people who never even spoke up and said "hey what can we do?" hurts.

What Zephy became was something that I think everyone can say was more then we ever talked about. Since we live far away it was almost impossible for us to be able to get him to do the things you were able to accomplish. I would have taken him hunting but I honestly would never have thought to track all those people down and get all that was accomplished done. Sue did a fabulous job with that. The misunderstanding I see is that we thought it was more of a crew as a whole thing. Someone would take him one day, someone else another. I didnt realize you understood that it was supposed to be the 4 of us. If that were the case we probably would have taken more of part in bringing him. But that said, if we had done that he would not have done all the stuff he did.....
