also... dont forget about public transportation, like busses and such... it may take longer to get places, but it helps with not having to afford parking ramps, probably cheaper anyways... and beats driving around for a half hour to look for an open meter spot...

Ummm, no I don't. Been meaning to tell ya, and was going to do it after I read about the possible move to Great Waters. The "freind" I had to do it really gave me a run around and I ended up telling her to forget it. I can still try to get one somewhere else. Any suggestions would be welcome. I think it would be cool to have a banner for the window at GW and on that we could use in the parade.

I'm all for the move to Great Waters. I agree with Tim about all the complaints every year about booking it and so on. Seems like green has complained about them also, but I can't speak for her.

We've seen our ducks eat worms, grasshoppers, small frogs, flies, and anything else they can catch. Our ducks are particularly fond of slugs and have learned that slugs can be found under the horses' water trough. Whenever I change the water and clean it out, they come running over because when I lift it up to empty it, there is a feast to be had.

Leeches!

When you think of leeches, you probably don't get warm fuzzy feelings. Most people recoil at the thought of a leech attaching itself to a leg while swimming. Summertime means more leeches

It's true: leeches are more abundant during the summer. They reproduce in the spring, and the young leeches are out of their cocoons several weeks later (summertime!). They are commonly found in lakes and ponds and many of them provide food for vertebrates such as fish,ducks, turtles and some other birds.

I wonder if the ducks eat leeches the same way they eat robins.

as far as the tip goes, when you give 'em your credit card you get a receipt to sign with a spot for the tip and total. put in a negative number for the tip put it on the total and see what happens :)

Actually- I hate mayfly season- cuz the fish that bite do not bite worms, leeches or grubs then.
