2009 - Swede Hollow

I'm tempted to go out tonight - just need a lot of coffee. I'm not going anywhere but around that "X" - my conscience would never forgive me if I missed busting up the right clump.

Me2 told me that she had been in the south part of the park but was heading north as Icesis was up there (waiting for her). She said there are a lot of ppl in the north part but didn't specifically mention where

Goodnight, see everyone who makes it out in the morning assuming it is not found tonight under the cloak of darkness.

I dunno...I read the clue, look at the map, read the clue, look at the map...several possibilities but none are pulling at me strong enough to go out tonight. Tomorrow, perhaps.

Wife is there with a couple friends, I stayed home with the kids..

She estimates easily over 100 digging, split between the north end and other scattered spots

MD, my advice is to wait until morning, but I understand the pull of "the spot".

OK, I have about 5 places I'd like to look at! That's still quite a big of digging and chopping...too much for tonight. I guess I'll try to get some sleep and get back at it tomorrow...

that would be cool if she found it!

The funniest thing at the PP tonight - there was a memo/checklist at the guard's desk explaining what to do if someone brings in the medallion. One of the points indicated that guard should call the local police to let them know so the police can go to the park and kick people out.

Is "call the hotline" on the checklist?!

On a lighter note... on my way out of the paper (one of the last few)... I saw a guy with headlamp getting out of his car on his way - it appeared- towards the river... I guess "rivulet" tipped him off as he alone was going to be digging there.

Brought a slight smile to my face.

The clue posted on PP site is a little different than the one that was posted in here tonight. Not that it changes anything, but here it is.

Tho' hills abound, it's on level ground

Just back from the park. Looked realy cool from the top with all the lights below. I dug up a couple large areas with my serated shovel. Lots of large snowpiles on the mansion site now. The park was kinda clearing out when I left, although it looked like the bar crowd may have been just showing up at about 1:30.

I know hockeypro and some other coolers are still down there. I'm gonna rest and hit it again in the am.

I was at the "upper" flat spot until 12:30, good hundred in the dell. It sounded like locusts crunching all through the valley. 8 diggers up top moving slowly and not covering much ground.

I'm staying up top for some other reasons too, like Hamm being the 1st king boreas, roomy mansion ect.

Just rolling around the final diversion, and I do not think its up.

just outside the park, under the double bridge to the left is a hollow, I spent a couple of hours there tonight late. Very flat when your in there hills all around, mostly untouched snow-even after tonights romp. Just since the word park was never used, just trying to get ease, easement, something like that, I just kept trudging through thinking this was the next mosh pit,. oh and if anyone reads this after its been found by the masses, please disregards, jus seems a litle early to say "go get it" as the clue appears on its face.
