Well, congrats to whichever Cooler found it! I can't wait to hear the story.

Tonight was magical in the park, warm temps, tons of people, and very cool views from vista to vista of all the people with their flashlights searching under the wires. It was an awesome hunt this year. Now what?

If it was Jake and/or Rob, good for them. They probably spent just as much if not more time than anybody else searching for it. That's dedication.

Although it would be nice to see it was somebody else. :smile:

I know it's 4am, but I'm up with the kid. Any details on who (was it you westy), where, etc.

I think whoever found it is too busy celebrating before turning it in. I guess I would be too.

No I'm just a noobie the only thing I ever find is geocaches and baseballs. I'm due in 2016 though, so I'll fill you in on the details then.

Found up by the large open area by the powerlines in between 3 pine trees that were lined up with the power poles and what may be the park sign. It was incased in ice inside pecan-almond bag. That's all I got so far. I'm sure they'll state details later. I guess the press conference is at 10:30 this morning

in the day light Rick and I searched those Pines too. That was on Sat I was convinced that the nut meant Pine Nut for Pine tree :smile:

I think I may have been "close" when hunting with Lisa yesterday but we weren't out long

I find that the years where I am no where near the puck to be easier to take the then when close....but that is part of what keeps me coming back, I guess...

Just noticed I missed the picture PHG posted....yep, me and Lisa were really close we were 2 tree's dow from those pines :frown: Then Lisa's socks got wet so we had to leave darn waterproofed boots leaked think I could sue for $10,000?

Congrats to thr finders. It was an exciting night. While digging along that line from the sign to the X marks the spot power poles I found a tobaco tin. I did not think that was it but could not open it. I put in in my pocket to look at later. When we could fing the puck after goinh up and down the line twice I started to think maybee it could be it. I left the group to open it in the car as I would have to break it open. The rest of the group was gone when I got back so I started to look along the line from the sign to a diffrent power pole.

Thank you the noodelers who helped with unscrambeling the clue. Because of your posts, and amazing puzzle solwing, we were the first to dig along that line.
