Well heck, could it be Alice Park? George St. is nearby as is Me2, and one could call the high bridge a bridge to be bold. If you're in Alice Park, Alice Ct. would be to your right and to your left and as I recall, the addresses there are pretty low so there might be a house with an address of 33 or even 3 maybe.Â
There's Peace Park on the other side of the High Bridge.
The Wabasha Bridge also requires some boldness which has Harriet on one side and Kellogg on the other.
The Hollow was named by its earliest arrivals, Swedish peasants, who called it Svenska Dalen, or "Swedish Dale", and for over a century it was a haven for wave after wave of poor immigrant families.

Our Lady of Guadaloupe Churcheven arranged for a boxcar to be installed along Phalen Creek to serve as a chapel.
When we moved down there in 1942, there were 17 homes down there, and out of those 17 homes, maybe 3 white families, the rest were all Mexicans."
With its clear spring water and cool caves for storage, Swede Hollow was a perfect place for brewing beer. Recognizing the valley's potential, Theodore Hamm started brewing at the north end of the Hollow in the 1860's.
Clue 6 In April 1954, a 14-year-old arsonist set fire to the Hamm Mansion -- out of boredom, he said. The last Hamm to live there died in 1933and the house had become a nursing home.
I must have been on crack...i just drove to Alice Park.
3 acres? what was I thinking ...more like 300 sq. feet.
Â
Yeah, and you didn't even stop in to say HELLO! uh, HElllllllOOOO!
Alice Park is actually on the even side of the street (so its funny that it actually has a 31 address)
Â
Here are all addresses on Alice = 3,9,11,13,15,17,39,41 -thats it
I took the Alice in Wonderland a step further...the first line almost sounds like the rabbit "I'm late I'm late" -to "A list A list" ---a rabbit is a HARE = HARE RIET!
I have not been out in Alice -just drive by it everyday.
what about the "A" list -
I drove down to Raspberry andHarriet -there is an east entrance and a west entrance- I really didn't feel the clues screaming to me there-
Not gone yet :( Just been verrrrry busy trying to fix this place so I havn't even been able to noodle any clues. Me2 are you serious about michaels tonight?? I wanted to go out for a bit and thats not far from us so we could be up there by nine.
I hope you are all having fun down at the bar! Did I read correctly that it is Me2's birthday?
Perhaps you all are on the *A list* and should have gone down to Alary's on 7th east.. I haven't figured out why yet - but I keep thinking the A list means to be like on the top of the heap - or something.Â
Clues will be on schedule from now on - I'm home.  And everybody up late thank Tami for coming to get me at the airport - without her, you would have had to wait until tomorrow for another clue.
Without stretching a thing, these clues could send you to several parks. Harriet, Raspberry Island, Cherokee, Como, Mounds, Kellogg, or maybe even Arlington/Arkwright.Â
Best of luck to all hunting. We just have too much going on right now to seriously hunt.
I wonder if our little cubby is trying to send us to all of these parks. Maybe have a little something at each of them that will help us get to the right park.
Well, I had some shopping to do today so while I was out with hubby we stopped down at Swede Hollow. Found a Geocache.
Had no great revelations other than what has already been noodled here. I did run into Steve, MapGuy, he was out taking photos. Hopefully he will come on in here and help us noodle. Not sure about the rest of you but the more clues we get the more confused I get!  Â
Hey, just for the record, I need to be clear about something: the Idea of New Orleans, or anything related to new Orleans - should not be considered whatsoever. I was in new orleans, I'm back - (thankfully, although I'm apparently a terrorist now) do NOT do NOT DO NOT include in noodling.
I didn't include..."orleans" just thought it would be very ironic.
also..... "did he do it"...I'm sure that is a reference to "phalen" and the murder.
Â
but I'm not sure what "gofish" means on that....
Â
well...depends on how tired I am...but I'm considering going to "swede" late tonight...heck if a guy is sleeping out there at nite in the winter...geez...I might give him $20 bucks.
There have been times in my hunts where I read what people are noodling and have no idea where they are getting it from. Of course once you ask, they know they must not be right.
We had a great time- good cake-great friends-
THANK YOU to everyone who came out! You all ROCKED! Kamakazes and Sex on the Beach and all. I am sooooo so blessed to have such wonderful friends. A special thanks to Gordy -who "melts me" when he sings ;)Â and we won't forget our "new" friend Joeyy (with 2 "y"s) hahahahaha or Gordy's groupie woman. Me2 closed the bar down once again ;)
go along down the list of parks?
 - I'm willing to help, as long as you're looking
Â
**why is there a shift in this line? ** any ideas?
Â
also...
I stumbled across this...
Wabasha (town)Â was Named for a three-generation line of great Sioux chiefs named
Wabasha

If it is alice park...I think its gotta be really really really well hidden as I'm sure it took Me2 about 30 secs to comb through it...
also the street sign at alice and cherokee is "30 alice"
so possible.
http://tinyurl.com/6rtzu anybody find this yet...I think its new!
Am I the only one that would find it VERYweird that if it is ALICE..that it is right next to ORLEANS street???

Hey, if I zoom in far enough, I can see Me's house.
Wow, if I zoom in even more, I can see Me2!

A. wonderland of parks.
Â
I didn't notice the "period" part!!!!!
If it helps any, I've hidden treasures in Tilden Park (virtually), Linwood, Phalen, Battle Creek, Hidden Falls, and Marydale.
I thought we are supposed to be takin' more off the list ...not adding!

Clue 9

If it’s history yer searchin’
And more clues you’re a’ urgin
Just follow this rhythmic flight
Don’t go out late at night
Or else you just might
Fall into a complicated vex,
When all that’s important is next

She's probably still at the bar trying to get in my husbands pants ;)
Wasn't that a guy?
Oh, no. That was Chris Digger that had a guy trying to get in his pants.
HeeHee!
A walking path exists on what used to be a railroad
all streets around swede hollow = east
east side is much higher than the west side, good views = but not the bestÂ
the sights you can’t see astound = can’t see views from hiding place
did he do it? = phalen creek runs through swede hollow
incline from top east bank down to the creek is pretty daring if one was to use a sled.

I hate to jump in here, but how does "did he do it" refer to phalen creek?
Too funny! The clue writer noodling clues. Hehehehehe

Well I like to see what's going on, I just don't understand where a lot of you are getting this stuff, including GoFish. but I should just shut up.

Just thought it needed to be clear that any references to new orleans are purely coincidental.
Clue 10
Oh Clues, clues, a brain heady fruit
The more I write, the more you hoot
A mind bending pain? You had better to bother
A canoe returns, bringing sky blue fodder
Clue's up, on time...yay! happy to be home.
Kitch has it correct.
Phalen was accused of murder = Did he do it?
Something that was brought up quite a bit on last years hunt.
Â
Phalen creek runs through Swede Hollow-Duh!
sorry, just my "thought every knew" thoughts coming out.
I am still liking Swede Hollow- but, a thought: Falls- Why not Hidden Falls?
