Wait a minute...that would suck.
No problem, just make sure you chime in when the mania subsides.
My sister (and faithful treasure hunting sidekick) was convinced that the "up and around" part was refering to the carousel at Como, but I'm not convinced. The carousel area is too busy, with people for the zoo, mini golf, conservatory, amusement park, etc. all in that one area. If it's over in that general area at all, it'd almost have to be in the woods behind the mini golf. We've done some searching back through there the last two days, but there's just so much in there where it could be hidden.

A president or two will give you a clue
So will a governor of capitol renown
A school of hockey fame will also help your game
As you go jumping all around town
It's been said that candy is quite dandy
And we're certainly inclined to concur
But then again liquor is alleged to be quicker
That both are true we're quite sure
And welcome!
It's just a guess, and I've been interpreting and re-interpreting these clues a hundred times now over these five days. Getting up bright and early tomorrow morning, so I had best go to bed now.
Thanks so much to everyone here who's been so friendly and welcoming, and best of luck to everyone ... even you lurkers!
Also the Hamm's brewery was right next to Swede Hollow. (Hamm=pig....Swede=sweet as in candy)
I also found it curious that they spelled "capitol" that way; not capital. I looked it up --- capital refers to a city, and capitol refers to the actual building. So that increases my pondering why they didn't list the State Capitol Grounds as off limits. hhmmm..
I checked out Cass Gilbert Overlook Park after work. Gilbert is the one who built the Capitol. Alot of clues fit that park. Near Capitol Heights St, and Como Ave, "Hockey school" could refer to UNIVERSITY Ave that sits below. Jackson (President) runs along the east side.
I dunno it's a stretch, it's not very big.
Checked out Kellogg park on my last break. I found 2-3 stone carvings of "Pigseye" along the railing. Was Kellogg a govenor? There is also a reference to Cass Gilbert (capitol) in the park.
Like I said this clues lost me more. I'm shying away from Como. I can fit most of the clues to Highland. But now I'm worried about all the rinky dink parks.

So my guess is it's some where near the original Capitol site.
I'm getting upset!
