great question...I know if the sale falls through and if the buyers fault the seller gets the interest....(but a ton of rules on this as well)
Also...
Another common assumption made about the earnest money is that it is not cashed until the closing. Not true! In Minnesota (real estate is local, local, local) the earnest money is required by law to be deposited within 72 hours of acceptance of the purchase agreement. The listing company puts your earnest money in their "trust" account where it stays until the closing or until the purchase agreement is cancelled.
It is my understanding the listing company will pay you the interest on the earnest monies.
please tell me it was listed and through an agancy....or it gets really sticky...
but i would make a few phone calls to a few real estate agents to confirm my info
Finally heard back from the Dept of Labor and Ind. they said their e-mail was messed up and they just got my e-mail today (The original was dated the 11th of December...) anywho they said that it's not something they regulate just for those of you who might have also wanted to know the answer. My only recourse is to take it to court...ummm 3 days of vacation is not worth my job thank you very much...
if thats true, that makes my childhood memories, that much scarier....
My grandma used to make cabbage patch dolls, herself.... except for the heads, which she would buy in bulk, and have sitting on shelves, in her sewing room (which also happened to be the play-room)....
nothing like a couple dozen, severed doll heads, watching you play with G.I. Joes....
Because I use VISTA, I am told I have to download (their IT department recommends) Filezilla Client.
When I attempted to run the file, I got a security warning that the publisher could not be verified. The file does not have a valid digital signature that verifies the publisher.
Any thoughts about how I can get up and running without opening my system to problems?
Let me know if you'd rather I would phone you to discuss.
Thanks!
(I just realized that perhaps this would be more appropriate posted in the Technical thread, so I will post it there, too.)
I have never taken a cab anywhere in the Twin Cities.
How does it work? Can I just call some place at 3 AM and they come bring me to Eagan? I don't want to get stranded but I want to stay out all night drinking.
