It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Step
I can't believe you are considering Newell...the guy who brought it up was joking and even he said there is no chance it's there.
Beware people! A lot of people come in here to throw people off course.....remember everyone digging up mounds when it was at Cherokee? They were all at mounds cause people kept posting mounds everywhere. I'd go with your own instinct.
There's basball fields and sliding in most of the parks. A $10,000 treasure will need a lot of parking. There are countless ways of using those numbers and making them fit. Why Como? Why Phalen? Why Battle Creek? Why Mounds? Why Highland?
I think that everyone is just generally stupified by the clues and doesn't know what to say!!!I am just trying to figure out the whole front door thing?
Well I guess it helps to be on a network, at least for me. I wanna address that "big park" issue. I think it could be in a big park. With the extra people looking, they may just think of only the truly big parks. The smaller parks would only be considered by vets and those who live near small parks...
I'm leaving in five minutes to figure out the numbers. I want to try and rule out the numbers on buildings.....so you'll see me running towards doors out there
I think the big park issue is right on, this puppy's worth some mucho denero so why try to hide it in a small park, they'll be so many people digging that there won't be a little park left!
Like I said before, the first two seem to tell where not to look, but that I think is for the sake of the land not being destroyed. The third clue seems to tell where in the park its close to, or in what it is hidden...
My thoughts are that it either has to do with golf 9+5+4=18, or that it has to do with the surroundings(highland has 4 tennis courts, and two courses 18, and 9 )

look at the pic of that guy, do you think he's normal???? He doesn't know what the hell he's talkin about period
Step, no doubt, this Newell thing is way off!
what up Nelldog!!
What up fool!
Want to go look at Newell tomorrow?
step, have you ever considered newell
good call on the H20!!!
I guess since everyone seems to be conviced about Newell...
regalman--I understand your points and they do make sense, but with the # of people this year, it has to be at a major park....that's all.
I understand
lurking*
that was a good point about the water.
Nelly--he said that they usually have a clue about water, but they haven't this year. Highland has the least water....
Do police stations have #'s?
Highland has 4 tennis courts and and 9 holes of golf plus a sliding hill!
If anyone wants my advice...

Thanks for the help Ian! It is very much appreciated!!!

Oops, I meant to say I think it could be in a small park...

I have a feeling that with tonight's clue we'll be able to tell if it is a big park or not...
I hope that it points out something signifigant rather than what's been said already. I am so confused
anyone think 954 has soemthing to do with what it is in
Like I said before, the first two seem to tell where not to look, but that I think is for the sake of the land not being destroyed. The third clue seems to tell where in the park its close to, or in what it is hidden...
clue 3 usually gives u what contains the medallion

old fat lady??? are you in here?
There is 450 acres at Como ????? 4 5 0 ?
I don't buy the 9+5+4 =18 hole golf course. Its that "somewhere a four" that leads me to believe that...
get this. There are also 4 tennis courts at como, "downhill" skiing, golf and sliding, plus a warming house hence "front door" ?
There are a lot of places that can have a front door. Warming houses, community center, golf clubhouses, restrooms...
Anyone know the score of the Gopher game?
Ok what about a scoreboard?????
where is the warming house in Como?????
I think it's just us
I don't know, I have this thing paper that lists everything that's at como park and it's on there!
