Dave and Birdie - I was at Newell this afternoon - it has everything there - and it's a bigger park than I thought. I didn't have time to get out of the car though and check out the yellow numbers on the doors. If you're diggin tonight - it's gotta be NP. What did you see when you were out there Dave?

Is there a good sledding hill at Newell?

Are you attributing the "popular outdoor attraction" to Midway Stadium, as well?

It was last in Newell Park in 1984...

Why has Phalen been counted out by many of you?

Its not an officially sledding hill at Newell. But many sleds had been there. It was worn and icy. In the trees and slightly dangerous. Just like when I was a kid.

There was absolutely no one there tonite, although the bases (always the first to get dug and the last place to be hidden) were all dug up on the softball field. If tonites doesn't turn me around I'll probably go dig it in the late morning tomorrow.

it's not in the HP football field because that is NOT public land

Matt, I'm leaning towards Highland and I won't be switching yet, anyway. After last year...fast cars, crazy people...I think it's not such a bad idea to hide it next to a police station with the amount as it is. That's my thinking, but I don't have any clues to back it, except the "caught." Number 4 works for me.

there is only one bus that goes by there and that's the number 4? (hp)

I actually attribute the sledding to the infamous hills over at Como on the fields and the popular outdoor attraction to the Saints and midway stadium, but telling us not to get too close to either, because we would be barking up the wrong tree. Thats what makes logical sense to me, without having to stretch anything too far.

all the streets of Hp are as follows: Hamline, Bohland Place, Montreal, Edgecumbe Rd, Snelling, 7th st W., Antonio Drive, Homer St., Beechwood Place.....9

Hmmm... One would have to be a real iconoclast to think that they would hide it at Como again. After all, it was there two years ago (in the past) and they wouldn't put it there again (the new). That would be outrageous! (iconoclast)
