Was thinking on going out to Highland in a bit, then off to eat or something. But I may not. Getting a little tired. Unless I find something out that wakes me up.

I'm not so sure that it's Highland. For what information has been given to me, I've deduced that Highland is the best bet as of now. But there hasn't been squat to tell me a more exact location. Oh well. I'm off to scope things out. Be back in an hour or so. Anyone who wishes is free to join. Driving a maroon Pontiac Bonneville. Probably gonna be one of the few out there. :) Later.

To overlook the obvious you've gotta ask yourself one question, did highlanders row boats and why don't submarines have oars ? should we build some upsidedown lighthouses for submarines ? man the torpedos and head for indian mound ! they drove canoes !ZZzzzzz.....

Just got back from Newell Park. Still a strong possibility along with Comeo and Highlanders. Hate waiting but there is sooooo much snow out there and sooooo many places to dig. Saw about 7-8 people digging and walking about aimlessly. Couple guys said they got there at midnight, and just after that a flurry of about 20 people hit the park, and were all gone after about an hour, I dug an hour myself, but to no avail, unlike Angel. [slap] [slap] Wake up girl and quit dreaming about finding it, completely Impossible! Ya gotta dig baaaby, yeah baby dig, and then you're groooovy. I don't see anything but Newell, Como or Highland. The only thing I dont like about Newell is the "well in the new" that would either be too easy, which would make it not possible or it was a mistake and they didn't notice it was there. But till toworrow it is time to Quake! Good Luck All!

Whelp... Good Morning to nobody it looks like... seems as though i've got time to kill so here goes my ideas why HIGHLAND is THE place...

Clue#1... In St. Paul... a road divides the golf course from the park itself so that tells us to stay in the park itself, dont cross the street...

Clue#2... Flying downhill=sledding... of which there are many at highland...but it says to stay away from them, they must only be in the park but not near the hiding spot...

Clue#3... i have yet to look for a door in highland with numbers or a number on it but if it's there that could seal the deal... the numbers keep score is loaded with sports implications, 9 may=baseball, 5 may be county rd. 5, and the 4 and shout tells us there IS a golf course nearby...

Clue#4... "well in the new" hints at Newell park but it's way too early to give away the park name like that... probably just means Newell park is nearby and they also feel that the newell hint may send people to the wrong park early on.... as for iconoclastic, the word means person or persons who rebel against icons (mostly religious) which the HIGHLANDERS did against christianity in the past... the BLAST could be ammo shells buried in highland... so if we search Highland park we in a sense become highlanders, and that definitely makes us willing to be an iconoclast...

so far i have found NOTHING against hignland... if anyone sees something against it POST it... whelp Tommy B and the rest of the crew is up now so im outta here... see you ALL at highland today...

I still feel that there are not of enough clues to pick one place from another........will wait for more clues.....keep digging!........Let your concience be your guide........

To whom it may concern:

After a sleepless night of tossing and turning trying to figure out the clues all I have is a sleepy head and an inhuman desire to dig. I apprecite the insight by most people in this conference area. I have nothing new to enter except a question!

Would the writer(s) ot the clue delibertly drop people at Newell Park while all the clues point to Highland? Newell hardly seems to be the size that could support a $10,000 mob! The only parks that could support such a rush are HIGHLAND and COMO, I think we can all agree that COMO is out though, because it was found their 2 years ago by some lucky bastard that didn't even search.

Tell me what you think!

The definition of iconoclast is: The one who destroys or opposes the use of sacred images or attacks traditional beliefs or institutions So where does this take us? Is Indian Mound at all being considered?

It appears that a number of people have AOL. This is for you:

Are you tired of being signed off when you're in the middle of IM's, e-mail, clue discussions, etc? There is a wonderful program that will answer all AOL timer (idle) messages.

Highland seems to be a good bet right now after four clues, but an iconoclast must be ready to break from the ideas of the teeming masses at a moments notice. A seperate golf course and other clues sure seems to make Highland Park a plausible place for our coveted treasure.

Good Morning!

Too many server problems to get on here last night. Like get that thing working!!!!!! Major frustration here!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm planning on doing a drive around before work this morning. I've got a couple of theories to think through and look for. I do like the Newell Park theory though. Often, if one is clever enough to see it, the park is revealed early....either by street names...(Fair way for Fairview possibly?) or by a word play..."But there's value as well in the new ...but who knows.

See you tonight if they have this server working! Geez!!!!!!

Could iconoclast be a reference to what the medallen is hidden in?? Could it be in a religious symbol like a cross, rosery, pentagon?? Do the vulcans have a symbol similar to a religious item??

Wild Goose Chaser - If you look at the URL address when on this page, you'll note that the last set of numbers after the "/" is a clue number. If you overwrite that number to the number just previous to the one you want and hit enter, it will take you there.

For example - currently the number in my URL window is /3690. If I wanted to go back to see post number 3000, I'd change the 3690 to 2999. Hope that helps!
