Separating Dinkytown and Keister is that highly sensitive area....

Good spot to hide stuff! NOBODY wants to look there.

Phalen would be fun - I gotta get over there to look at the lights before they take them down. I think we have until Jan 1st, but I dunno....

Someone remind me to have a shot on the Box at the PDG.

RIP Box.

I went and looked at the lights at Phalen just after Thanks giving they were pretty cool...the kids thought it was awsome.

I'm thinking it will be at Phalen this year so they can rhyme it with "Palin".
Fri, 12/26/2008 - 10:05 AM Permalink
mrmnmikey

heh, Palin is failin'?

I am guessing it will be at Highland this year (I am going to keep guessing that every year until I am finally right...)

Does anyone know if there is still construction down there?
Sun, 12/28/2008 - 6:23 AM Permalink
Clue Master

Not sure about any Highland construction but it's nice to see you once again Andrea

My pick is West Minnehaha Park  Don't ask why...I just picked a park from the list on the St. Paul website lol. In general I'm thinking a small park this year...
Sun, 12/28/2008 - 12:10 PM Permalink
Clue Master

I really can't see them putting it in a small park ever again being that there's just too many people looking for it and you'll always get the locals to tear up their park first as they make the clues fit their park anyway. It doesn't take much to clear a small park with a couple of people.

It would be fun though.

as recent as 2000 and 1999 it was in a small park. Newell and Conway respectively

Como!

I'm thinking not small, OR huge... what are some good, medium-sized park possibilities with decent parking? hmmm..

Andrea

Thanks! My son and I are really looking forward to the treasure hunt again this year. We had planned to try and do an off-season hunt, but time got away from us. It wouldn't be the same without the snow and cold anyhow!
Sun, 12/28/2008 - 4:20 PM Permalink
Andrea

My son says Como too... but I think that is just wishful thinking on his part since it is so close to our house.
Sun, 12/28/2008 - 4:22 PM Permalink
Terry

I think it could easily be at a rec center like W. Minnehaha. Many clues could make one think it was at Como, Phalen, Cherokee, Highland, or even Newell, but it would take some savvy noodling to put those clues at W. Minnehaha or North Dale.

Terry

And some clever clue writing.

I wonder who'll be doing the clues this year.
