I'm around. Just don't have much to say lately, I guess.
I'm just plugging away here, getting ready for this week. I need to spend my days this week setting up more appointments and interviews for when I'm in the cities. And any spare moments are being used to get the house and yard and laundry under control so I can leave bright and early Friday morning. Trying to time the lawn mowing, weed whacking, deep watering of things that can't go 10 days without water in this drought, so that I get it all done in time to still get the inside cleaned - with the house on the market, I can't just "go" this time!
Hope you aren't working too hard, vino! Double pay sounds good.
I can't complain (but I will) Double pay, lunch.. coffee today all taken care of.
I've had 3 truckers totally blow by the scales which (it's kinda funny to me - the sign is huge, it's got pink flamingos, basically everything but - hey idiot turn here - although it does have an arrow) and then they get mad at me, when I make them have to do a fancy turn around and go back.
Finding a couple lumps (tumors or cysts) on my Black Labs side tonight and knowing money is tight (we just spent it all on vacation) so I don't really want to go to the vet and get a ginormic bill I spent $400 on the animals just before vacation to get all shots up to date. :frown:
Thanks for the support guys. I went and saw my infectious disease doc today and I feel that hope is on it's way. I'll wait to see how it all pans out first but I should be able to have my pic line removed tomorrow and also have my new meds kick in to reduce the swelling that's causing so much pain in my left leg.
well they aren't hard they are kinda Jelly feeling...kinda like fat deposits or something..I was talking with our office assistant and she said her dog got them and as long as they weren't hard it probably isn't anything to worry about .....
my lab gets them - the vet says his are just fatty cysts, and some just are predisposed to them. his (3) are the size of marbles on his butt area, and he's had them for almost 4 years. When he's in for other things, the vet measures them, and says as long as they don't grow or bother him - it's all bueno. Hoping your pup has something benign and inexpensive as well!
new irritation, it's 3:30 - I've been here since the crack of dawn, and I'm just getting lunch because the person who is supposed to help me, is totally incompetant, and now disappearing.
other irritation. I put something in another persons 'in box' on the great wall of inboxes - someone grabbed said item, and mailed it to the corporate office - i just got a call from their secretary - giving me a lecture about how to properly code inner office mail.
our nadia has a huge growth on her tail. had it since she was born evidently. a few years back we had her at the vet and they aspirated it and since it doesn't seem to be bothering her and isn't malignant they leave it alone.
There are times I wish I had cable again...I like my satelite but sometimes it just sucks...any bad weather and you can be sure I won't be able to watch the weather to see if it's coming at me or not...why because the rain screws up the signal.
we picked up a couple of hdtv convertor boxes; the hd antenna arrives on monday via ups. and since they can share the same lines as the satellite through the house with appropriate equipment, we'll be avoiding rain fade.
oh I see I thought you were saying somehting about still getting satelite...now I understand you want me to go back to the days of old before satelite and cable...which I might add was exactly what we did on vacation in our camper. We just had a regular antena sticking out the top of the camper roof no hd box thingy. I've got to say it was kinda weird I haven't had to "try" and get a station in since I was a kid...how things have changed.
Yeah, I've done a bunch of research on those. Still need to do more, as I'm the local tech support guy, I expect a ton of questions in January/February next year.
multiswitchen and diplexers are easy to deal with, kc.

ugh. I have a knot in my stomach.
oh well - I guess double time is a pretty good reason to be here.
