Welcome to the 5th Annual Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt!
The treasure was found just before 9am on Wednesday, March 10th, by Me2. She will get a prize around $290 plus a variety of other goodies. It was found in Marydale Park on the north side in a pit under a tree near lamp post #12.
The wrap up party will be Saturday, March 13th at 8pm at Fabulous Fern's.
Welcome to the 5th Annual Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt!
The hunt begins On Sunday, February 29th. Clues will be released at 6pm each night, once per day, for a total of up to 12 clues. The Allison Wonderland medallion will be hidden on public property in St. Paul. It will not be hidden underground, in a tree, on top of a building, on a body of water, down a manhole, inside anything electrical, or anywhere that would require you to damage or disturb anything other than perhaps some plants.
The first clue will be released at Fabulous Fern's on Sunday the 29th at 6pm. Clues will also be posted in this thread and on the Allison Wonderland Yahoo group.
The prize is as yet undetermined, but I will be accepting donations at the Rehash bash, the Mock Hunt pre-party at Fern's, or by Paypal at AllisonWondrland@yahoo.com
The point of this hunt, as it has generally been throughout it's history, is that one can find the precise location of the coin if they figure out all the clues right. Some are harder than others, but even if you don't get them all, some time searching may still yield up the treasure.

Finally a hunt in which we can put some faith in the cluewriter to not only have some common sense but also to write clues that mean something.
So you mean if we figure out the clues they won't just lead us to 4 or 5 adjacent streets that run into the park and don't necessarily point out where in the park it's hidden?!?!? SHOCKING!!!! It's like...dare I say it...A HUNT! :)

Interesting - I always use the pay feature and never the receive feature.
If you recieve money through paypal, then yes, you have to pay them 2.9% It's the same thing with credit cards. If you go to the store and charge $100 on your Visa, $97 goes to the store and $3 goes to Visa. But if the store didn't offer that convenience, they'd likely lose more than that in business.

I'm thinking the same thing, Terry. I'd like to see some of your original work. I'm redoing my kitchen, and could use a nice original piece in there. I'm having some fun with the kitchen. The rest of the house is so traditional.
So does the winner get to decide what they want you to do? I'm so bad at making decisions like that.

I could probably come by and pick it up sometime if need be. I'm pretty sure I know where it is. I used to always go down Rice St. when I worked downtown. Would there be an ideal day or time to do so?
LOL ok AW :) Thanks for the info. If I can donate more I definately will. I figured if I donated some gift certificates from my family's restaurant... haha it's kinda like cheap advertising. A few people who have seen me post about it have stopped in already which is really cool! :D

I got drunk last year, so the details are kinda fuzzy.
If you can pick it up maybe Friday AW? The restaurant's on the corner of Rice St. and Cook Ave. Right across the street from Washington Jr. High, and there's an Anderson Funeral home on the other side. Ya can't miss it. :) I'm there Fridays from 4pm til 9:30.

No, the pre-dig thing is on Sunday the 29th, starting around 5pm. I'm hosting a big party on the 28th so I can't do it that day. Although you may be right in thinking it was on a Saturday last time.
