Just got back from the park and it was so good to see all of you and to meet mnmikey and nimrod. Saw you too brass monkey and next time I see you I'll shake your hand. Didn't know who you were til you left and Tim told me. That's why I hate living in Wisconsin during this time of the year, ain't like I'm 15 minites from the action.
GRG and the city of Saint Paul's Parks and Recreation Division have worked closely with several neighborhood groups to conduct restoration activities to complement the natural value of this historic neighborhood park. With the Friends of Swede Hollow, the Upper Swede Hollow Neighborhood Association and other community volunteers, Greening and Parks have done three plantings of native forest and prairie species and removed exotic species in this steep ravine tucked in the East Side of Saint Paul. Community efforts are under way to protect and restore an adjacent former railroad industrial site into city park property to create a natural link between Swede Hollow Park and the Mississippi River.
Funded in part by the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund, as recommended by the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources.
It doesn't look like the anagram has found its way to the PP boards. (BTW, TMK that was a great noodle.) That is good news. I always thought people would pay to just come one here and lurk. :cool:
We just got back. Lots of people at Swede, I'd say 40 at least. It's a big park but there's only a few spots that would -make sense- for hiding it.
Also, I doubt tonight's clue is gonna narrow anything down as far as spots -within- the park... instead probably will hint more towards it just being there
our problem is that we're not 100% sure where we're gonna be at any given point in time before we get up there. planning on going out digging before we come.
I'm so convinced of the park, I almost want to post all of the convincing evidence pointing towards other parks over at the other board... lol.. am I mean?
