Well, I can't say the Clues are full o'shit this year... Not Millett as they'd be more cranial - like "Rosebud," "Chair-O-Key," and "trees in a line (Woodrow)", but they're better than years past.

I found a cache near BC this afternoon, then checked out the vale there. Only about 4-5 cars parked outside the closed gate. I met a woman and man with a dog who were doing recon. The woman wasn't on a message board, and was headed to Vento, thinking BC wasn't "dank" enough...
Stopped over at SH to check things out, getting a walk in with Maddie, my Newf/lab mix. Lots more people up and down than at BC. Met Mucluck up top, who got some wet kisses from Maddie. Met mrmnmikey down below with a bunch of hunters. Sorry I didn't get your names! I headed down the trail a little and met up with other hunters I didn't know and their dogs. The wind was brutal on the way back to the car.
Observations: BC seems to be all RC jurisdiction, so early park closing, except for the Rec Center grounds. Pehaps it could be there. I don't think they want people on ski trails, or in caves, or near open water.
Swede has lots of hilly terrain but the park is actaully bigger than I thought. I'd never been there. I'm guessing it might be in the lower part, due to the walk through the tunnel (dank and scary, to some) and the church (where Box's funeral was) overlooks it.
I just thought of another reason why I like the hunt, I get a little exercise and don't eat as much, ergo I lose some weight. The hunt should last forever!!!!
I think I'm heading to swede straight away this evening...skipping PP...I'll just have to catch up with the new clue when people get there...look for me in the park!
All my ideas have been said so all I have to say is "nuff said. I'll see you all at the press later tonight I'm not going to Bulldog's I dont' want to have to find parking. I don't even know if I am going to be able to go out hunting much let alone walking very far tonight. My asthma is kicking up something terrible, and I don't want to sit at urgent care tonight waiting to get my perscription refilled :frown: I'll go in the morning.
Back from Harriet. The anchor is in an smaller area of the park "enclosed" by those orange mesh like fences like they don't want you anywhere in that area.
I am not going to the PP tonite. My wrist hurts quite a bit still (especially after hunting today) and I don't really want to do much with it until it is light out, so I think I am just going to do the stuff I usually do on Friday. A couple things:

Good news is that I caught up with stuff and it's Finally Friday.
Not such wonderful news - it's butt cheek clenching cold out there!

I'm guessing with the Mardi Gras thing, it'll be closer to 11:30 tonight.
I was reading the PP boreds and darn near fell asleep. Nothing much going on there for sure.
