I like the Strohs can, with the lions on the outside.

Perhaps whatever it is hidden in will have this logo taped around it.

The puck is hidden in a box with this logo on it?, Bests exposed.

Someone posted this earlier.

It would tie in with the history of the park.

Maybe - inside something white would be possible.

Nimrod can I just say that you ROCK!! I'll pay your posting fee just to keep you around. Not only are you funny as hell but a great noodler too - makes sense but not too much of a stretch.

Hope to meet you sometime.

That's the way I feel about everyone that hangs here during the hunt. (And all year too.)

Wish I had that kind of money.

Why is there a statue of liberty on the roof of Yarusso's? Interesting

But more then one park has EAST in the name.

Maryland Ave East

Wheelock Ave East

East 7th

Larpentour Ave East

Everything with east side parks has EAST in the street name. This clue mainly told us if EAST was to be discovered that its an EAST park.

Although I appreciate the offer and greatly cherish the compliment, please let me continue to pay my freight. I would HATE to think that I could get this cold and this frustrated with myself for free!!

The meeting part I look forward to, I'm the guy with the confused look staring blankly at the horizon..Oh, and I have a shovel-that should help.

We all looking forward to Clue 8. Because im getting sick of the past couple clues anograming SH. This is seaming like 2003, the clues being impossable unless you were standing in the same spot as the CW when the clues were wrote. Jeeze- he or she used a Dome Refrence to a painting on the wall of the pool, and we all were thiking of a building dome.

You too, golfpro! No one's biting on the 666 idea. *harumph* I studied the RC GIS address map some more at home and they do meet in the park.

That lady passed out twice in the library and still wanted to drive herself home. I'm glad the cops made her wait 'til her son came. She's waaaaay in denial if she thinks it's okay to pass out in public like that.

That is the battle of the hunter vs. the cluewriter. It's part of the game.

I'm thinking tonight's clue to include mention of Hamm's in a more prominent fashion...and we'd still have some questions as there is more than one place that Hamm's could be used for a clue.

I love this craziness and hate it at the same time.

Be interesting if you get a library clue. The library by SW is much closer than any of the libraries near BC or Como.

The first King Boreas was William Hamm Jr. A little history there brought to the fore.

I was going to mention earlier today, on the way to my mom's place, we went through Como Park. The disk golf thing was going on...but there were hunters out in some numbers as they were obviously not disking with their shovels and kids in tow.

Oh my gosh, there it is! Fascinating, thanks Terry. If the Puck is at Swede, wouldn't this landmark be in a clue?

I am biting on the 666 idea. I will check it out. Is it north of Bates and west of Margaret?

I am glad that her son came to get her.

Great tidbit! If my guess is right we'll have an italian, jazz or city council reference. if not theose (Vic Tedesco - Tedesco st.) or

a train or railroad reference(upper trail). Guessing future clues...don't we all spend time on that futile exercise?
Sat, 01/24/2009 - 7:25 PM Permalink
Terry

If we got more than one clue a day, there wouldn't be so much time to think about possible future clues.

I just hope it isn't a 10th clue chase to another park.

Tesser,

Are you going to SH tomorrow? I will be there all day.

if in crossword world exposed means take off the first letter then 1666 could be the beast. 1666 runs through Newel.

Look at the beasts and the trainer's name. Big stretch, but I'm playing around with surnames and capital letters in clues.

I might stop by. I'm not a serious digger with my sore back (was in a car accident this winter). I like poking with my walking stick, getting the dogs out, and finding a geocache everyday. There's still one in SW to find, but the "muggle" factor is prolly too high.

Straight west of Margaret, and straight north of Bates, is about where they cross, based on the address 658 on Reaney being the last house west of Bates. There is a 666 - on Wells Street 5-6 blocks north of the park. Straight south of that 666 house is Bates.

Yup. It was an event night down at the PP. I wondered if that had anything to do with the early release.
