I recommend taking Payne to the Beaumont/Drewery area and then taking the tunnel into SH. If you park up at Greenbriar/Bates-- the stairs are a killer. There is a charter school called Hope Academy or something like that with a few spots if the street parking is filled up on the Payne side.
The center of the feudal system in medieval Europe was the king, and a medieval king was, above everything else, a warrior. From the 9th to the 14th centuries—the heyday of feudalism—the most important element in making war was the armored and mounted knight. To maintain a retinue of knights was, however, very expensive. In return for providing the king with warriors, tenants-in-chief were granted large holdings of land. A grant of land was known as a feud or a fief, hence the term feudalism. The tenants-in-chief (commonly called barons in England) received their lands directly from the king and, in turn, leased parts of their estates to the knights, who in their turn gave leases to yeomen. This idealized description was subject to many variations.
Does that description help? 'Neath King and Court - Knights? McKnight Road? Does that cook yer noodle?
Mad_Dach5und - I was hooked on BC before, but I'm caving for Swede Hollow. This clue is firming that up for me too, for the reasons Terry listed before. I was there today and I wasn't the only person with a dog. Besides the anagram with "poodle", I also agree that's a reference to times changing for the area - once a feudal-like state of no bathrooms, now the rich-person's dog can be seen there. Simple as that.
I'll admit those anagrams are pretty damming evidence Swede Hollow is in the mix.
Some of those clue lines I'm having trouble with at Swede:
1) "unleash" would not apply very well there, if at all
2) "Bring to the Fore"- anyone got a link there? Best I got was BedFORD St - nuts
3) 'Detention' and all those lines that may be Gov't related - you can't see the Gov't center building from there - and really, it's not even close by
4) "All we see was done naturally" -- this really bugs me - there are very, VERY few places in that park where you can stand and NOT see something man-made. There are retaining walls and buildings virtually hanging off the upper lip of that whole valley, not to mention drainage pipes from storm sewers and people's backyards - if you want to narrow down search locations in Swede - use THAT line as your guide
As much as this Wiener would like to stay up all night, I guess I'm going to need to retire and recharge the batteries. We're gonna need a bit more than a warm heart to go out hunting tomorrow. Have fun, everyone!

Tear into a can of the meanest energy supplement on the planet, MONSTER energy. We went down to the lab and cooked up a double shot of our killer energy brew. It's a wicked mega hit that delivers twice the buzz of a regular energy drink. The MONSTER packs a vicious punch but has a smooth kick ass flavor you can really pound down. So when it's time to "unleash the beast" within, grab a MONSTER and GO BIG!
Unleash.....could be the puck is in a can or container that has a slogan similar to Unleash the Beast...
follow minnehaha west to payne ave. Go left one block, and then take another left 1 block to the tunnel on Beamont and Drewery ST. Park and go in the gloomy tunnell.
Or go to Payne and 7th and park bt the the "patch" and follow the trail under the train tunnel to sweede, going north...
Fits BC well. but we know better! I was convinced I wasted my day diggin the swede untill I looked at this clue anoyter way and saw swede again.. BC seemed to be it at first glance... we should let every one know that "walk the poodle" is the BC dog park!!!
I normally would agree, and have for most of this hunt, untill I see how crafty this writer really is.... I love the double entendre's... Sounds like BC, but really swede...
So to me Sh is "neath the courthouse
barely 'neath BK but none the less 'neath it
PP boards have the anagram, lame.
We have the King and need to find the Court.
To see an owner walk his poodle = ease on into Swede Hollow Park
Water and ice are here
do any of the parks have both a swim center and an Ice rink?
other takes on that of course would be water sking and also (snow / x country) sking. or ? ugh. something in my mind on this one
This name brings tears, elation and cheers
And occasionally even outrages
It sits on walls and rides the halls
And fills a dozen pages
To see an owner walk his poodle = ease on into Swede Hollow Park
also: see onion at swede hollow park :pbpt:
take it easy and have a wonderful tomorrow

although - it would seem then they are beating us over the head with knight. mid evil . knave. king. bower (mid evil term for woman's dressing room)
to the fore,
Into a conspicuous place or position, to or at the front
At hand; ready; available
Still alive
did anyone also notice, besides that statement of to the front, the words up front are in the first clue?
up? upper afton? front? front of park? near the picnic shelter or is there an enclosed weather shelter (bower enclosed)
by the by - there is a pitbull breader - from what i gather was in southern MN, who is now in TC are, and it's called heart of the beast.

just as boxmeyer is?
Supreme Court Justices --- Roberts..... Kellogg or Harriet Island
                           Stevens.......Cherokee
other ones are Scalia, Alito, Breyer, Ginsburg, Kennedy, Souter, Thomas.... to tired to match these up.
Also...'Neath King and Courts..... people were suggesting Joker or Jack, or knights..... but what about a PAGE as in Page St (Cherokee)
page
–noun 1. a boy servant or attendant.
2. a youth in attendance on a person of rank or, in medieval times, a youth being trained for knighthood.
3. an attendant or employee, usually in uniform, who carries messages, ushers guests, runs errands, etc.
I can't believe they would mislead us twice with two anagrams saying Swede Hollow.
Does anyone know if there used to be a courthouse there...maybe one of the Metro state bldgs?
Kudos!
I'l still havn't seen you though, I'll have to concentrate my hunt...
You seem to have been out of sorts this year.... Kick it up a nothch...
